Or instead of playing on the D-Pad, play on the analog stick. That or he could use a GH controller as a handy replacement, it’s what I’m gonna try later today.

Holy hell..I suggest putting your shirt over the D pad to allow easy sliding.
or build up the dead skin on your thumb so it doesn’t blister anymore like mine.
