Torrance, CA (March 30, 2010) – Aksys Games, a publisher of interactive entertainment products, proudly announces Mimana Iyar Chronicle, coming to a retailers everywhere!  This magical PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system title will be available on UMD® and as a digital download on the PlayStation®Store. With a story written by the same minds behind the Lunar series & Tales of Destiny 2, and gameplay developed by veteran RPG-makers Kogado Studios and Premium Agency, RPG fans in the US will finally get the game they’ve been waiting for—one previously available only in the land of the rising sun.

The first run of Mimana Iyar Chronicle will include a CD soundtrack and 7 voice mails of the main characters!

Mimana Iyar Chronicle blends the traditional RPG elements of vast map exploration and treacherous dungeon spelunking. Engage in fast-paced battles in a quasi-3D environment where you control the character’s movement and actions, and strategically command your party to turn the tide of battle. Your actions dictate how the story unfolds, through numerous fully-voiced event sequences.

“Mimana Iyar Chonicle brings the charm of the old school RPG experience to the new school crowd”, said Frank “Bo” deWindt II, Associate Producer, Aksys Games. “Help Crais confront his dark past and fight against all odds with your girls by your side!”

If only my PSP wasn’t broken I would have bought this game. If I ever get it fixed, I’ll still buy it.

If you are offering digital download why don’t you sell a different version with the Japanese voices? That’s really the only thing holding me back from buying this game and I’m sure a lot of JRPG fans would agree with me.

Looks like the download will be available on the 15th (or so it says on the forum).

I really like this game! The English voices are great and the dialogue has me rolling!
