Very disappointed that this lacks the manga volume and poster/plot guide of the Australian LE. $20 for only an incomplete OST and an art book just isn’t worth it. This is the first Aksys LE I will be passing on.

No limited edition for the PS Vita?

If that calendar and artbook aren’t 20% Hazama I’m going to want my 20 dollars back so that I can waste it on other things.

Any word for a Canadian retail or order?

I created an account to simply leave a comment of concern here about the lack of options for Canadian retailers at the moment. I can’t even get this shipped to Canada from Amazon.

Amazon Canada and EB Canada will definitely have it, but for some reason it isn’t in their system yet. Our sales dept. is taking a look at it!

@Tsukasa117 Sorry, no LE for the PS Vita. As far as we know, no publishers are making Limited Editions for Vita titles yet.

@Qefimo Sorry to hear that! We didn’t want to release a comic that came out long ago. The 40-page artbook is very robust, in my opinion :)

@Fgwar For Canada, the game will be sold in GameStop, Best Buy and Future Shop, and on Amazon!

That soundtrack’s playlist has all the awesome tunes! Another day1 purchase for me. Keep up the great work Aksys!

Then I shall anxiously await for the limited edition to hit Canadian stores.

I shall also anxiously await for the LE to register on Canadian systems so that I may preorder it immediately. Super happy about there being a LE again this time around. I was bummed by the lack of options in North America after the fabulous one you guys did for Calamity Trigger.

Out of curiosity, does the art book actually have any illustrations not available in the in-game gallery? And “LOL it’s too old” is a pitiful excuse for not releasing a manga. We never would have seen Vertical’s Osamu Tezuka releases if that was the case. I think you just didn’t want to pay the manufacturing costs.

I’m new to the board here, but while I agree wholeheartedly with Qefimo’s passion and desire for the manga, I think maybe it could be approached a bit better.

Hellorobot, as a newcomer to the arksys family via BBCT, I love how you guys reach out to the fans and have such great communication. That being said, surely you’ve heard the voices interested in an American release of the book. I gleefully purchased the previous Blazblue manga from the online store here and would definitely pay fair cost as would many other fans, I bet. What are the odds of any kind of print-to-order service on this or, say, just a limited print run available on this site?

Since the franchise is so incredibly story driven, and it’s clear that American fans want more Blazblue, I’d say that at least a limited release here is MORE than warranted.

@Qefimo @voxbox Of course that’s not the only reason for not releasing the manga here, it just one of many, and some that are out of our control. I can look into releasing the manga in the states, but I can’t guaranteed anything.

If you could look into that for us for maybe a limited aksysgames.com relase, I know that I and all of your devoted fans would really appreciate the effort!

Little off topic. But will the game still have the same voice actors doing the new lines? I was very sad to hear some odd sounding lines in BBCS2… It’d make me and I’m sure alot of fan very sad if the new parts of the game are being voiced by different actors then the rest of the game.
Also kinda sad that we don’t get the plot map in the states regardless I’ve bought my LE.

I’ve got my LE copy on pre-order at EB Games and am super pumped for the release!

I would also be very interested in the manga if it was released here.

I feel like the weak part of this is the calendar. I would love to get this if it had the Phase 0 manga instead and possibly the map that Australia is getting.
