Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom ships out today, to appease your hopeless romantic soul, or, to give to your special loved one. Some say this isn’t only a game for women. Some say we had the guts releasing this type of game in the US. If you want something intangible (like love) the PSN version releases on 2/14 on PSN for $24.99. Reviews have been coming out early, and the majority of reviews have loved the game.

I was SO excited to see yesterday that the game had shipped already! While shipping on Valentine’s Day would have been perfectly alright, the fact that once my class is over I will be playing Hakuoki makes this probably the best Valentine’s Day ever! And I’m so happy to see the positive reviews rolling in…here’s to a successful game release, Aksys!

Will there be an announcement of Hakuoki’s sales after a reasonable amount of time? I am very curious to see how well it has done.

Wish it could be advertised more. I really think this genre could expand a bit! Also looking at all of the Hakuouki stuff on the box and game gives me the jeebies! I’m still squeeing in my mind “IT’S IN AMERICAAAAA”! *spload*

They should bring out a guy game AND a girl game around the same time (or find one for both parties). That way no one could whine about “single your mother is a classy lady marketing”.

I do not see how what I said was offensive but I will re-wright it.

    *”single GENDER marketing”.

Oh yeah, I have played P3P. I love it. :)
I hope Persona 5 will be male/female. When I found out Persona 4 Golden was still male only I was very sad. :(

Anyway, I just figured since people are going to whine about how a game isn’t made for them (gender-wise) it would be cool if Aksys could do a double gender dating game.

I am fully supportive of a male romance game coming out after this though. Maybe something like “Love Plus”? I (unlike most men it seems, and some girls of course) do not have a problem dating members of my gender, despite being straight. =P

I just wanted to say, thank you so much for bringing Hakuoki to the U.S. It truly is a dream come true! I’ve always loved Romance games like Harvest moon and Rune Factory, so when I heard this game would be releasing in the U.S I couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much for your hard work!! the game itself is so much fun <3 All of the characters are so loveable! It would be so meaningful if you could bring in more otomate games! <3 Thank you so much!!!
