“Those who have pre-ordered prior to “first wave” of pre-order bonuses will still receive the bundle. This means that if you placed your pre-order prior to September 17th, 2012, you will receive the watch. Do not cancel and re-order.”
This is what was promised to people who pre-ordered the game before September 17th. I pre-ordered the game on July 5, 2012 from Amazon.com. I just received an e-mail telling me I would no longer be getting the bonus. I was lied to and am very unhappy. I would have at least liked to have heard an official statement from Aksys than get an e-mail from Amazon telling us that what were told by AKSYS was misinformation.

I’m also echoing @Niction’s comment. I too got that exact email from Amazon and I preordered the game back in March and I’m told not no longer getting the bonus.

@Amiti and Niction
It seems this is an issue with Amazon, even Aksys said numerous times before that the people who ordered before would get the watch.

Got the same email as the above posters, and also preordered right around the time the Game (not “standard edition,” which is a neat bit of historical revision on the part of Amazon’s CSR), was first listed. redhood, you’re probably right that this is Amazon’s fault, but since they’re the ones fulfilling orders here, its hard to take much stock in Aksys’ promises. Amazon obviously has no intention of fulfilling said promise at this time. It sure is a shabby way to be treated. I imagine Aksys’ silence up til now is down to their guys fighting to get Amazon to stop being your mother is a classy lady and honor their very earliest pre-orders. If Amazon is still refusing, and I get a standard edition in the mail in a couple weeks, then I’m just returning it for a refund and spending my money at Gamestop instead. If I don’t get the pre-order bonus either way, then Amazon can kiss my your mother is a classy lady.

Just registered to say the same thing. Preordered the game back in August 17th, way before the bonus were offered and now I received the same email from Amazon. Even though Amazon is the one in charge of distributing it, it is Aksys’s game and bonuses, I wish they could’ve had better communication with Amazon. Now we loyal costumers are the ones ripped off and both companies basically wash their hands.
I’m just gonna return the game and get it used, I’m sure neither company will have any problems selling it new what with all those people who WILL get the bonus and those who never knew they missed out.

I have a question about the OVA.
Around the ten minutes mark Sigma says: “if you choose Ally and your opponent chooses Betray, you lose two points and they gain two points.” but the blue bracelet’s points go from three to six. Is that an error or am I missing something here?

That’s pretty cool you translated the OVA, although I can’t say the same for the dubbing. The lip-syncing is just horrible.
Also, isn’t the OVA showing how to escape the first room? You should have given a warning about that! >:(

@SmashManiac
Um no, the OVA doesn’t show them escaping the first room. I thought the lip syncing was fine. You should watch it before you open your mouth.

Sorry to be an elitist snob, and I think it’s really cool that you have released this, but you made the game available in subtitled Japanese, so I’m wondering if you could do that for this too? I know you guys are busy making that currently unannounced 3rd wave of bonus editions (at least according to Amazon) but I know myself, and other snobtastic fans, would appreciate watching this in Japanese.
Thanks!

@tat2 and @Aksysgames
There’s a mistranslation at 10:13. If you choose Ally and your opponent chooses Betray, you lose two points and they gain THREE (NOT TWO) points.

All right… The day has finally come =)

The OVA was a fantastic bonus and treat! Thank you for dubbing it, Aksys. :3 Hopefully this will become available in some format, for purchase?
