    Awesome! I am super excited! I can’t wait, though I have no choice since Amazon says it’s coming next week and the shipping status is still “Not Shipped Yet.” -sigh- you would think the status would by now say “Shipping Soon!” But alas, no. Waiting is what I shall do.

    @NES23 – I believe the reason why it hasn’t changed status is that the games have shipped from Aksys’ warehouses to various retailers, not that those retailers have begun to ship to customers. It’ll be a few days yet.

    Since I got standard shipping it is coming Monday. At least I got the watch though! It says “shipping soon” which gives me a small glimmer of hope that it will come earlier. But I know that it probably won’t :D

    @redhood56 – Thank you for letting me know. I feel a little better now. I think people who ordered 3DS versions got their orders shipped out first. So hopefully my order will be shipped out by Friday.

    @NES23 – I ordered the 3ds version and haven’t seen any progress on mine. Priority on fulfillment is on Amazon’s end, and who knows how that’s determined.

    After being told by your customer service that I was getting preorder bonus I still got the “No watch for you” E-mail from Amazon. To top it off my order still hasn’t shipped. It’s good to know that pre-ordering Aksys titles early will thoroughly screw me out of pre-ordr bonuses and timely shipping. I will make sure to never make that mistake again.

    my ‘with preorder bonus’ still hasn’t shipped

    should never have canceled my newegg preorder

    why was the game not sold in the aksys store? the watch shoulda been from here only

    Was very surprised to find out that Amazon.com shipped games internationally when I ordered it back on Monday after the announcement of more watches being available. Thought first I’d have it sent to friends in the States and then get it at some later time. Luckily they DO ship overseas, so I just recieved mine here in Denmark.
    I understand how many people were upset about the way Aksys handled the issues with Amazon (simply selling it from their own store would likely have been easier), but I am just happy to have the game, the watch is just a great bonus to me.
    Now I better finish up Last Window: Secret of Cape West so I can get started on ZE: VLR! :D

    @Hauke: I was super surprised too. Cos I tried that for other PS Vita games and they refused to ship them (even from the Amazon store itself, not the other resellers). Took the chance and it paid off. Guess this is probably a one time off thing. Doubt we will see this for other things.

    @everyone who is still raging at AG and wants to boycott: Yes I understand that you are pissed. AG and Amazon.com made a booboo. A big booboo. But they did at least try to make up for it. And in all honesty, aside from the watch issue, they’ve done a brilliant job already. If you still insist on giving Aksys sh!et for that one error, then at the very least count your bleeding lucky stars first that you didn’t get RSG as your distributor. Single audio and no watch. At all. Ever. Just sayin’

    And we wonder why preorder/collector’s edition nowadays just include some DLC if they have one at all… :\

    Btw my order shipped so YAY!

    Thanks Aksys for working with Amazon to get this shipped out of the US. You cannot imagine how happy I am that I can get to play this in both languages (and then there’s the watch). :)

    @obvioustwoll – Thank you for letting me know about your status. I hope they ship your order soon! I just got an e-mail from Amazon late last night saying that they shipped my order.

    Is anyone really calling for a boycott?

    I think it’s more voicing that people who pre-ordered early were screwed over and pre-ordering early so in the future will be a bad idea. If I’d been informed that I wasn’t getting the Watch sooner I would have cancelled my Amazon order and picked up a copy at Gamestop. But with my work schedule I didn’t have any time to keep an eye out for something that I was already informed not to worry about. Now I’m stuck waiting for a game in the mail that I could have easily been playing by now.

    It’s just a lot of needless drama that is mostly Amazon’s fault.

    Kinda disappointed that the watch is plastic and flimsy….I heard the first one was metal and very durable….but having the watch is good at least

    Mines blue btw

    My order arrived at EB on Thursday and my order from Amazon shipped on Wednesday. A bit late but finally here! VLR has had some mishaps but I think a lot of the fault falls on Amazon and everyone has to remember that even though we were all upset about this, Aksys didn’t have to localize VLR. But they did and I can definitely look past these upsets because of Aksys bringing over this game.

    Got my copy yesterday with my (red) watch! Thank you Aksys! The watch is plastic, but imo it’s made a little better than the old watch. It’s more comfortable to wear and it doesn’t have sharp metal edges. Yes, I actually wear the watch.

    Yeah still no update on amazon on my end, not even a shipping date. Called amazon about the third wave of watchs and said they havent recieved shipment from aksys.

    I FINALLY found a used copy of the 3DS version on Ebay. Had Aksys not spit in the faces of fans who pre-ordered months before the game’s release, I’d have kept my pre-order for the Vita version. As it stands now, I still get to enjoy the game, and Aksys doesn’t see a penny. The same thing is going for Ragnarok Tactics: canceled pre-order & will buy used when available.

    11.05.12 at 2:14 pm

    @bujinkanrn
    Amazon was accepted pre orders with the watch a few days before the release. If you kept your pre order, amazon would have sent you an email informing you :P I also don’t understand why you cancelled Ragnork Tatics do you seriously have that much of a hatred towards aksys over a pre order bonus?!

  26.  bujinkanrn
    11.05.12 at 3:22 pm

    @redhood56
    Yes, Amazon DID send me an email with a link, which never showed anything but “Currently Unavailable” on the site. My hatred of Aksys has not resulted from simply the loss of a pre-order bonus but from principle. Aksys should have been able to make sure people who pre-ordered LONG before the bonus was ever announced would be taken care of, even if it meant printing more watches, etc. Aksys had the power to open up a 2nd and 3rd wave of watches, so I don’t buy it as Amazon’s fault here. Currently, I see plenty of people re-selling these on Ebay for twice or more what they’re worth, and I’m ticked. Aksys refuses to take any responsibility here, and that’s the last straw that turned me off of them. Yeah, I’ll buy their products – USED!

    11.06.12 at 2:01 am

    @bujinkanrn: As I mentioned in the other post, the links were supposed to be exclusive to you guys. But some smart aleck decided to leak it to the public. There really wasn’t a 3rd wave per se as the 3rd wave was for pre1st wave. And you can’t really blame Aksys for scalpers. They exist everywhere whether we like it or not. I personally hate them as deplete stock solely to jack up the price. If you’ve read the statement explaining why there was a shortage, then it would make sense. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt here.

  28.  bujinkanrn

    @porkiewpyne
    The “Official Statement…” was nothing more than an apology that ended with instructions to contact Amazon with any questions. To say Aksys is innocent here doesn’t hold water. They stated that delivery of product was essentially beyond their control, blaming Amazon. However, Aksys had the authority to open up more waves of bonuses. If Aksys could do that, they could have held onto those extras and distributed them to those who could show proof of their pre-orders. Amazon may not be entirely at fault, but Aksys refuses to take any responsibility here. Yes, they’re a company that’s trying to make money, and it would be naive to assume that they care about such ‘trivial’ matters. That’s why I’m gonna do my part to see that Aksys never gets another dime from my pocketbook. Had Aksys at least tried to own up to its error not simply point the finger, perhaps I’d feel differently. But they didn’t, so for them: C’est la Vie.

    @porkiewpyne
    I got an email today from Amazon apologizing for their inability to provide the pre-order watch. In that email same email, they provided a $10 credit to my account for the inconvenience. This was unexpected and not owed to me, though nice to see Amazon at least tried to make the best of a bad situation. That shows better character than Aksys, who has sat in a corner with their collective thumb up their posterior waiting to pull a plum: doing nothing but pin the blame on Amazon. This is the reason for my animosity toward Aksys – I could have forgiven them had they not displayed such poor character.
