Why no 360 version?! Every single other Blazblue game on a console got one!

N-Next year? That’s wayyyyyy too long! I wish I could go to the meeting space, but I’m not in LA, or CA. I don’t know if I can wait that long. I might have to import… At least its coming stateside. ,_, There better be an awesome LE Collection. I’m talking life size Noel statue!

Yeah, I don’t know why there’s going to be such a huge gap between the Japanese and US releases this time. Aksys did a good job releasing all the other BBs in a reasonably timely manner.

… Welp … that’s two games … no Fate/Extra CCC this year … even though everyone wants it …

My thoughts exactly, yet another stupid move by Aksys.

    No CCC = no buy.

There is a distinct lack of CCC in these announcements…

Well, I’ve officially lost interest in E3 this year.

Don’t count out CCC yet, remember that the original Extra wasn’t released until a year and a half after it’s Japanese debut. So do not lose hope!

Anyway, the Chrono Phantasma release date is probably because they can’t get all the English VA’s together in a timely manner and don’t want to listen to people complain about them changing the VA’s again.

    @jiggima
there’s always been a very large gap between jp arcade and localized console versions. for CP, it takes a lot less time to produce a new arcade version of a day than it does to develop all of the content required for the console versions.

as for it being further apart this time, it’s probably the same story on aksys’ end: development on the localization probably hasn’t been started for reasons that aren’t worth worrying about because it doesn’t change when we’re getting it. we got continuum shift in 2010, so clearly development wasn’t started right away if we’re not getting CP until 2014.

Please take your time localizing the game and get all them original voice actors back. I’m willing to wait a year or more.

okay, why is there no 360 version overseas? I know it’s PS3-exclusive in Japan but having not 360 version is unfair and unacceptable

I am excited about this, but no CCC still stings. CP is going to be fantastic, but there was no doubt in my mind that it was going to get picked up.

@Aiddon: Porting a game to another console takes time, money, and expertise that I doubt Aksys has. It isn’t as easy as just putting the same data on a 360 disk instead of a Blue ray.

aware of that…but it’s not any excuse when the previous entries in the series have ALWAYS been multiplatform. Still a bad idea to have let happen.

I know, but I am just saying you can’t really blame Aksys for it. Blame Arc System Works for deciding it apparently wasn’t profitable (or that they just felt too lazy to make the port).

Aksys, is there any way we can get some clarification on this?

    http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/12/blazblue-chronophantasma-will-not-have-any-dlc-characters-roster-fully-revealed/

Siliconera reported that a total of six new characters would be available in Chrono Phantasma (none of which would be sold as DLC), but that conflicts with the information here, which states there will be five new characters and two new downloadable characters (for a total of seven). Was there a change in plans, or was there perhaps a miscommunication on someone’s end? Thanks in advance.

^Debunked JC, that is all, since you already know where else this is going…>_>

Aksys most likely put the huge gab between US and JP to avoid Persona 4: Arena (we all know the issue).

    Why no 360 version?
397 Xbox 360 sold this week in Japan, so ain’t worth for Arc System to make a 360 version of Blazblue.

It’s not going to be on 360 either because the next gen version (XBOX ONE) is coming out very very soon, Xbox has too many DRMs to go through which is a complete pain in the rear to go through, or they haven’t announced it just yet
