Greetings, all! As promised, here is an update on all of the requirements/regulations for those wanting to participate in the Arc Revo 2015 US Qualifiers being held at EVO this year. While we do reserve the right to change things without notice, what follows is pretty much set in stone at this point. I also want to take this time to thank Team Stickbug for running the actual tournament and Mad Catz for providing space on their stage for the finals. Without them, none of this would be possible.

Now, the basic entry requirements:

1) All participants MUST be in possession of a valid US (United States of America) passport at time of registration. A scan or clear photocopy of the first page is also acceptable and, in fact, preferable. We don’t want folks losing their passport at EVO. Proof of application WILL NOT be accepted!

The reason for this is that once the winners are decided, things will be moving FAST. In fact, we’ll probably start making reservations for everything pretty much the next day and we’ll need names and passport numbers for flight stuff, hotels, etc.

2) Unless the winners live in Japan already, all winners MUST fly out of a US airport. Due to logistical and possible legal issues, all winners must be able to fly out of an airport within the United States (Hawaii and Alaska count).

3) All participants MUST be 18 years or older. Due to the nature of the prizes on offer, participants must be considered adults in the eyes of the law to enter the competition and claim any prize they might win.

Tournament Rules:
All tournament rules can be found on the Team Stickbug website, which is here: http://www.teamstickbug.com/event-info-rules/
Also, TSB has set up provisional registration sites for teams to sign up to speed up the actual on-site entry process.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- pre-registration is here: http://bit.ly/1IcaJii
BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma EXTEND pre-registration is here: http://bit.ly/1de6zt5

Prizes:
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-
The Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- tournament will feature a $5000 prize pool, ($2500 from Aksys, $2500 from ASW). In addition, the winning team will receive a trip to Japan (airfare, housing, and meals) to compete in ARC REVO and the chance to test their might against some of the best GG players in the world!

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND
Same as the Guilty Gear Tournament, the BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND tournament will feature a $5000 prize pool, ($2500 from Aksys, $2500 from ASW). And like their GG-playing brethren, the winning team will receive a trip to Japan (airfare, housing, and meals) to compete in ARC REVO and the chance to test their mettle against some of the best BB players in the world!

As for the cash prize pool, the breakdown for the payout for each game will be as follows (courtesy of Team Stickbug):
• 1st Place
• $3000 + 60% of entry fees.
• 2nd Place
• $1500 + 30% of entry fees.
• 3rd Place
• $500 + 10% of entry fees.

Schedule:
Schedule is still pending, but generally the pools will be Friday and finals will be at the Mad Catz booth on Saturday. Once everything is set in stone we’ll get the word out.

Hopefully I’ve answered most of everyone’s questions. If not, ask away in the comments sections and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
