Affection

When a heroine's facial expression turns to "blushing" she is at her highest affection rating. If they fall to only "laughing" then it will likely require only one choise decision to bring it back up to "blushing" again.

When raising the affection of a particular heroine, it is obviously a waste of time to raise it beyond "blushing", but it never hurts to have a buffer for choices she might not like.

Basically, to sum up, you can choose whatever path you want but keep in mind that some choices will go on a different path that may go around the special events. Make sure to get heroines early to view the special events.

Even if the the link gauge and affections of the heroines are satisfied, if you go down a route where the event does not occur it will not appear later. Please refer to this walkthough for details.
