I know there is no real way to answer this question, but I was personally kind of curious if the possibility would go up if a PS3 version was actually released in Japan? Fate/stay night is a money making machine, really. It's probably the most popular Visual Novel, like, ever. Right now they are porting the PS2 version back to PC in downloadable episodes in Japan. I'd say it's only a matter of time until it gets brought to PS3. Well, at least, I hope so.

The anime was pretty popular in America, Fate merch and cosplayers have been at pretty much every anime convention ever since 2006. From what I understand, Fate/Extra did moderately decent sales-wise for Aksys, considering it was a PSP game that was barely even carried at some gamestops (I'm still mad at them for this). I think Fate/stay night on PS3 would probably do even better than Fate/Extra did, since the name and system and status as being the original that the anime drew from (I hesitate to say the anime is "based" on the Visual Novel considering how the anime ignored 2/3rds of the story) would bring A LOT of people in, both fans of the anime and people who never got into it. And, of course, all the serious fans of Fate would buy it as well.

Well, anyway. Obviously it can't happen unless it's released on PS3 in Japan. I was just wondering if it IS released there, are there any chances of Aksys considering it? Just wondering if the answer is anything other than "definitely not". It's nice to have hope, you know?

^^This, pretty much. Glad you enjoyed Fate/EXTRA, and I recommend Fate/Zero if you need more Fate goodness in your life.

Well Aksys is just a publisher so that's a little out of their field. That and unless there's a special remake, there isn't much point in publishing Fate/stay night in English. I would assume licensing costs would be pretty high, and the translation patch for the PC version has been out for a few years now so quite a number of people have already read it and I can't see it getting much sales.

I bought the Fate/Extra limited edition. I liked it. I first saw the series in the anime of the same name Fate/Stay Night. I liked it and even tried the Japanes' visual Novel for the PC. Since Fate/Extra was translated I am hoping we can get a translation and port to the ps3/PSP consoles for the original PC Visual Novel game. Even if it was just a cheaper download I'd still buy it. I really want to get the original because it has a really deep story and I think some even better music to go with it. Please make it for psp also. or PS3, large screen game play option is also fun.

If you ordered from our online store, I believe you should receive an e-mail when your purchase ships, but we generally ship USPS without tracking numbers.

Nyaa...I don't think that would happen nyaa. I believe on the receipt it might say, right next to your confirmation code, "Track this with your local postal service."

I would check with your local postal service to see the status of it.

Hi I recently ordered a item on aksys games and I have my receipt and everything. I call up aksys and I can not get a hold of a representative to assist me with my order instead I'm sent to a voice mail promising me that someone will call me back and I never get a call. Please help me.

Well, I think the issue has been resolved...somehow. I don't know if it's merely because I had reset the 360 or if it's because I installed the game data to my hard drive. Regardless, I *think* I have nothing more to worry about. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post, though. Thanks. :)

If the problems do persist, see if you can return it for a new copy, and drop us a line at support (at) aksysgames (dot) com if they won't take a return.

Have you tried starting a new game, or loading that cleared save into a new game?

This is not an issue we've ever seen before. For now, I'd say your best bet is to take Rogue Ninja's advice, and see if you can return it for a new copy.

I would probably take the game back to where I bought it and exchange it for a new copy. This looks like it's defective.

I'm a long time lurker, semi-first time poster. I finally began playing Record of Agarest War Zero today after having it since launch and I've encountered numerous issues in the few hours I played it. At first I just ignored them as uncommon flukes, but as the issues continued I began taking pictures...Many of these issues may have been present in the original Japanese version, and thus not really Aksys's fault, but I still thought I should bring up some of them and see if there's any solution available.

My first issue was only being able to load a cleared save from the first game from the first save slot. It was, of course, just a relatively minor annoyance, but I thought I'd still mention it.

Then, while entering the adventurer's guild, the screen became all...for the lack of a better word, fragmented. It remained that way until I exited the town. It made it impossible to shop, see title rewards, etc.

Next, I encountered the following multiple times during different battles...Note, the image covering the screen wasn't always the same. There were sometimes blue orbs, black mist-like images, etc...

The one with Alice's face plastered all over the place made it nearly impossible for me to even see what was going on. >.<

And the random images all over the place weren't just in battles, either...

...Granted, the little Ellis sprites everywhere was kind of funny.

Those are all the pictures I took. I'm playing the 360 version and after stopping for the day, I installed the game to the hard drive so I *HOPE* that that helps to fix some of the problems. I'm not going to rule out the possibility of my 360 messing up or the game itself being defective, though. I doubt it's my 360 only because I recently upgraded to one of the 'slim' models and I haven't been having any issues with other games.

EDIT: Sorry that the images stretch the screen... =/

That was an automated message. They likely won't actually accept you with game videos like that on there. That's why most reviewers and internet celebrities wind up going to blip rather than youtube. Furthermore, you gotta be getting like hundreds of thousands of views to actually make money. So yeah.
