As noted here, an anime adaptation of the BlazBlue franchise is in the works.

Hopefully it'll turn out well, and that it gets picked up for Western viewing by the time it airs.

http://www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?508-BBCP-JP-Console-Release-Date-New-Characters!
http://shoryuken.com/2013/04/16/blazblue-chrono-phantasma-heading-to-playstation-3-in-japan-on-october-24-two-new-fighters-announced/

I may have linked only to DL and SRK, but a few bits of my info are from some blogs and other sources I would rather not list here (they're in all Japanese so it's not like people here can read them). Bios are taken from Dustloop, translated by KayEff.

BBCP is being released for PS3 in Japan on October 24. It will feature two additional playable characters in addition to the other four new ones from the arcade version.

Kagura Mutsuki:
"Currently the head of the powerful Mutsuki family of the Duodecim, Kagura is the Library's highest order general. Because of his supreme position as general, he is planning to revolt against the Imperator."

Kagura appears to be a charge character with 2 special moves (a projectile and an anti-air) and his drive allows him to go into a stance to perform other moves. (SRK listing his drive as being called "Stance" is a mistranslation, we haven't been given names for either character's drive yet)

Yuuki Terumi:
"Terumi has met Ragna in the past, but only as the alias and disguise Hazama. He also previously played a role in the Dark War as one of the Six Heroes. Cool, cruel, and especially sly, Terumi enjoys destroying and killing anything and everything."

Terumi's moveset revolves around use of the heat gauge. He has more Distortion Drives than regular special moves and his drive can enhance his meter gain.

People who preorder in Japan will receive a downloadable code to unlock Terumi, but it is unknown whether he's a full DLC character or a similar case to Mu with the exception being that people who preorder can use him from the start instead of having to unlock him via story mode or a paid downloadable unlock code. Hopefully the latter.

Story mode is divided into 3 parts, as opposed to individual character stories as it was in the past. There is a 10-hour main scenario, and two 5-hour scenarios focusing respectively on the Six Heroes and Sector Seven. Combined along with the true ending, the story totals to 30-hours (meaning the true ending is also 10 hours).

All popular game modes are returning, the tutorial mode will have more characters than just Rachel teaching the lessons and there will a new Glossary-type mode (I'm assuming for the lore buffs).

A limited edition is being released in Japan. It will include a Nendoroid Petit Rachel Alucard, an art book, the Soundtrack and "Song Interlude 2".

Call of Duty: Black Ops(Zombies Only, 360 & PS3)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2(360)
Cabela's Most Dangerous Hunts 2011 (360, PS3 soon for 2012) - The most addicting shooter ever I might add(survival mode)!

I usually don't have to hear the N word, but I have to put up with sexist remarks. Everyone from little boys to grown adults want to either date me or marry me! Lol! Speaking of crossovers, I wonder if Arc System Works would consider approaching Index in terms of allowing characters from Persona 4 Arena to be involved in such a mix-up, or if the latter would prefer to keep their IP apart from either of ArcSys' own "home-grown" franchises?

(I'm not sure if they would be a good fit even if it was an option, but still.)
Not only that, but also characters from Fist of the North Star (Worked with ASW and SEGA) and Arcana Heart (even though ASW worked the port of 3 with Examu), but a person can dream, lol. :3

Never played any of the Guilty Gear games but I always like trying new fighting games. They were my first love before shooters & rpgs came along! Gotta try out BlazBlue for the PS Vita first since an anime fighting game is where its at for me. Has anyone played Aquapazza for the PS3? Just discovered it the other day on ebay and the gameplay along with the anime cutscenes look SWEET! This needs a PS Vita port!

"The Sword that protects" - Kaoru Kamiya

I've actually play both games now that you mention it, they are pretty damn good, my blazblue mains are Ragna, Jin, Noel and my subs are Mu-12, Hazama (dispite I'm REALLY BAD. WITH HIM). My Guilty Gear mains are both versions of Sol (Sol Badguy and Order Sol) and my sub is Justice (even though she's illegal). If I were you, I'd get it, and what shooters do you play. I play Call of Duty: Black Ops II on the PC (I have an XBOX 360 but everyone says THE N WORD)
