Well good news and bad news. Good news is I got the game today, bad news is I apparently got a defective copy. I was able to load it up just fine earlier today and played for about two hours, then turned it off for a couple hours, and now the disc won't load. It seems to boot up everything just fine except after the Aksys logo I just get a black screen, and.. nothing else . The Wii completely locks up at that point. I can't go back to the home menu or even turn the system off (I had to pull the power plug on it). Tried this 4 times and I got the same result every time. Tried two other games in my collection and both of them worked fine, so it's definitely the AC+ disc.

Is this a known issue? I found someone else who reported a similar problem on Game FAQs but that's all I could find. Please don't tell me I have to send this back and wait another week to get a working copy. :(

No biggie though, this seems to happen somewhat frequently with 2D fighters for some reason.

Seems like a lot of places just don't care about 2D fighters.

Sorry it's taking your a while to get your copy, but I can confirm that our shipments left our warehouse on the 12th. Unfortunately, it does take them time to get from our warehouse to Amazon's, were they also need to be processed, and then shipped back out to you.

The Wii version exists. I've heard that same story for Samurai Shodown Anthology for PS2 not even existing, if that's true than how have I played it? If you're referring to GameStop then I definitely know they're wrong, they suck, but don't tell anyone, it's a secret.
