I want Arcana 3 on XBox. It would be a Day 1 purchase for me. Supported the game since Day 1 release of Arcana 1. I would buy it at a XBL price, or the full price of a retail 'on-disc' XBox title. I want dat Arcana, in America, on XBox! PLEASE!

Well in the fighting game communities, not too many people actually care about the story. Many people (including myself) never even touch single player modes unless it's needed to play through them to unlock characters. I understand that some people like that content a lot, and some people play through fighting games soley to experiance the story and character personalities. But I firmly believe that those people are very small minority, I don't believe it's an issue that held many people back from importing.

Who knows, maybe a low price and a convienant download might allow this game to reach a broader audience. I'd like to believe this game can reach a new audience and do very well, but on the fighting game forums I frequent it seems everybody has already imported it.

Yes, it would be great if the was released on your console; yes, it's fine that you're complaining/politely asking them to reconsider.

But a lot of you are saying "PS3 users didn't need this game since they can import."

Whether or not a game is region-locked has zero percent influence on whether a game gets localized or not. The point of a localization is to make the game playable in English. If a region-free game is not playable in English, localizing that one is just as justifiable as localizing a region-locked version. They're just doing what's most financially viable for them, and I'm sure that if a 360 release ends up being possible they'll do it.

That said, I have an idea regarding the region-locking: is it possible that people could request Zen United to make their 360 version region-free? That way 360 gamers could at least have something until Aksys gives the final word regarding a North American 360 release.

This would pretty much be an easy sell to people that enjoyed BB. I wonder how sales of that was on either console. If there was much more on the PS3 than the 360 in that vein, then I might see where Aksys is coming from...but even then that might be the wrong angle. Maybe they looked at the sales in Japan and maybe they weren't impressed with what they were seeing the 360's end? Again, kind of biased, since the 360 in Japan doesn't sell NEARLY as well as it does in the WEST.

Hopefully, this becomes an Agarest...but you watch. We'll get this in disc format for 360 peeps with extra add-ons and people will complain on Sony's end that they didn't get all the bells and whistles that they did (when, honestly, Agarest REALLY wasn't that good of a game).
