Here's hoping that the online is as good as SF4's.

LOL WUT? Everything about SFIV, ESPECIALLY online, sucks balls.

I'm guessing it has been resolved a while ago. Cause I have not noticed any lag whatsoever while playing online. Too bad I can't say the same about Super Smash Bros. Brawl...

Lag in Brawl just adds to the hilarious fun.

to follow up my original post so long ago. Blazblue came out..and it kicked my ass. It was one of the best Fighters i've ever seen. I live close to the east coast of the US, and I have played the Japanese. The lag on those matches ..was sparse. However since I only found JP Nu players..it was hard to tell for sure. I was also here looking to track down how the netcode problem was finally fixed. I keep hearing things about GGPO, Kawaks. If someone in the PC fighting game community helped fix this problem with lag on consoles. I would love to hear any information about that.

Anyways..Thank you Aksys. You are the Working Designs of the new generation.

Alright, so I've actually been getting significant lag in most of my ranked matches. I've been hearing others say that they have no lag or unnoticeable lag. It's not my connection, because other games like HD:Remix and SF4 are not giving me trouble. I've heard that there's an update coming, and that the JP version of the game is already updated. I've also heard that it's Sony's fault because of some maintenance in some regions, but I just want to know if others are having this problem or if it's just me.

Whoah, GG reloaded on the xbox was a long, LONG time ago. In one of the interviews (Gamasutra, I think) the developers were talking about how one of the main priorities was to optimize the netcode for BB. So, yeah, it shouldn't be laggy, unless your connection generally sucks.

Like mine.

When Guilty Gear XX#Reloaded came out on Xbox I had a great deal of problems with the game being so slow, that it was terribly frustrating to play online. A couple of years, I tried it on XB360 with a friend who is 5 miles away from me, we found that our game was 25% slower than Local play. There isn't really a problem with my connection, or my friends. We both have Very high speed DSL.

I have found that other 2D fighters were not as bad (SF:anniversary Edition, SFIV, DOA4). Street Fighter IV has done a great job at normalizing online play. Even people I play a 1,000 miles away I have little or no lag. How is BlazBlue going to be different for the new release? Has that kind of net code been polished for our release..or are we all going to be stuck with sub par online play and perfect local games. I hope you have good news...I would love to hear that you have tested it, and it works "Great"
