Dear Aksys,

I've just completed the second case in the Jake Hunter games for the DS. With one case left, I think I can fairly judge the game, and I have to criticize it.

I don't know if the text in the original japanese version was so weak or is it the localization that is weak, but for a game that consists of nothing but text, a little more effort should've been placed into making sure it clear, relevant, and entertaining. It seems that a lot of the time some phrases were translated literally from japanese, and they just don't sound right. That's not to mention the many misspellings & missing words.

I really like publishers like atlus, xseed, and now aksys for bringing to the english-speaking world games that would've otherwise stayed in japan, but I really hope more effort is placed in future games.

I would've sent this is an email, but I couldn't find any on your site.

Looking forward to your future releases
