Hmm...I don't remember what I was trying to post back then (possibly my first "Agarest Downtime" segment,) but I guess it did revolve around the links, since I figured out that if I used these little shortcut things above my post (for urls and images and whatnot) it wouldn't work.

I do remember trying to quote you about the Vampire prosecutor a couple days ago, and it didn't go through because of the link you had made nyaa.

I've been trying to create a new topic for fifteen minutes and all I get is this message:

Page not found!

I'm sorry, but there is nothing at this URL.

Also, it tells me I'm "moving too fast" while I'm not doing anything.

Strange, I'm not sure why it's doing that. Anyway, if it was the Imagepoch post, I've resurrected it.

Whoa, sorry Susanooh, I guess I didn't see this. To answer you, if your posts aren't showing up, it means that they've been caught by the spam filter. Taking out links sometimes helps, but you can always e-mail me at belisarius (at) aksysgames (dot) com and I can "un-spam" them.

Not sure what your question is about, Kou, but generally double-posting in any sense is frowned upon. Unless someone's being a jerk about it I'll usually just delete duplicate posts and leave it at that since 99% of the time they're just mistakes. If you post the exact same thing twice in different threads, or repeatedly in the same thread, or start a new thread that's just a copy-paste of a comment you already left somewhere else, then you will get a warning, and have one of your duplicate posts deleted. I don't always respond, but I generally read every thread in here, so I'll know. :3

happygamer1 said:
Is it alright if I say that I don't like BlazBlue, which I already did, due to the mechanics compared to other games? I am not being racist or anything, just stating an opinion. I am not a hater or dick as you would call it. Treat others as you would like to be treated is what I say.

Saying you don't like BlazBlue, or any of our games, is perfectly acceptable. Discourse and constructive criticism are necessary to the improvement of any product. If you don't like our products, then you are more than welcome to post here and say why you don't like them, ideally suggesting what might improve them.

If you are subtly trying to ask why I've closed your thread, I did so because nearly every post you made was inflammatory and confrontational, and not a simple statement of opinion. Whether that was your intent or not, the effect was that you incited conflict for no good purpose. Given that you stated "My purpose for posting here was to insult the developer's work based how they made the game and I did my job", however, I am disinclined to believe your posts were ever intended to comply with the spirit of friendly discourse and constructive criticism. You also stated your opinions as if they were facts, which is usually guaranteed to make people mad, especially when they disagree with you.

This post is long overdue, but better late than never. These rules are pretty basic, and boil down to "Don't be a dick", but here they are:

Don't intentionally insult, belittle, or otherwise be a jerk to other forum members.
Really, this should be a no-brainer, but here it is. I'm not gonna be particularly unpleasant about this stuff, but there will be a zero-tolerance policy for anything along the lines of racial/ethnic/gender slurs. Apart from that, just don't say anything you wouldn't say to someone's face, and you'll be fine.

Don't post the same thing more than once.
It will get you attention, but not the kind of attention you want. Do it once, and you'll get your duplicates deleted and a warning. Do it again, and the consequences will be somewhat more...severe. At least, as severe as a forum banning can be.

Don't create a post for something that's already got a post.
Again, this will get you attention, but not kind you want. I know everyone makes mistakes, and I'm not going to come down on anyone too hard for this, but please check and see if someone has already commented on your issue. Bumping an old post may get your the attention and answer you do want. It's happened before.

Your sig is a sig, not an ad.
The forum has, in its infinite wisdom, granted you the ability to include signatures beneath each of your posts. You are welcome to include small pictures, anecdotes, lines from Doctor Who, etc, in them, but please, do not use them to advertise. Put a link to your personal web site if you wish, but please don't link to a site that just sells stuff. I will generally consider this spam, and warn you, but if nothing is done, your account with be suspended.

Don't be a pirate.
In other words, don't steal things. This also means "don't talk about how to pirate, or your own piracy." I obviously can't control what you download on your computer, but if you post about piracy here, I'll delete your post and warn you. If you do it again, I'll ban you. Simple enough.

And that's it, pretty much. Of course, these are more like guidelines than actual rules, but please keep them in mind when you post.
