If you just go to each battle point once instead of wasting time grinding, then you don't have to keep the turns down because you'll hit just about every event within the necessary time frame.

Lots and lots of preplanning. >.> Basically, take a focus, find something that works and stick with it. If all I need is a rush strategy to get through Gen 1 in under 80 turns I'll do just that. I'm not missing anything and the game is easy enough with silver weapons/armor. Party was decked out by the time I hit Cave of Ordeals and have since been upgrading those equips like a fiend. Also, when you get the TP store, you gotta learn to not make pointless purchases and use that "25 TP -> 50000g" to its fullest. Just find whats effective for you, refine it, exploit it, move on.

You'd be surprised... I've seen a lot of comments like that on different boards. People who don't either 1)read the manual, 2)actually watch the tutorials, or 3)experiment with buttons.

P.S.: Every battle you fight is counted as a turn, and the more turns you use the less secrets / sidequests you unlock...

I am a 28 yr old female from ohio usa. I love anime, videogames, asian ball jointed dolls, and anything cute (bentos, plushies, kittens, etc.) I'm a graphic artist, currently laid off D: And other than that I spend most my time gaming :) I have nearly every console known to mankind :) (Started with atarii 2600. have all the "next gens" and rares like sega cd, virtual boy, even a 32x lol) :) If it came out within the last 20 years I probably own it and love it :)

Now then onto my problem at hand... I am in slumber forest, the first quest spot. I can not for the life of me figure out how to progress. I got the chest near the roots of the tree. I don't think I have a quest here. Nothing happens. Nothing happens back in dodrone either. And all the rest of the points are random battles.

Now in slumber forest it looks like I can MAYBE climb further, but I can't for the life of me get up any higher. The controls on this game are really bad D: That's my only complaint, and I cant exactly SEE the visible differences in where I can jump up/down the cliffs. It could be my eyesight or my tv. But I just cant figure it out. I have run along the edge of the back most cliff pushing up on the control stick to no avail D:

I checked gamefaqs and there's no walkthrus for this game. I need help D: I just dont know who to talk to or what to do. It doesnt seem like there's anything I can do to progress!

Other than that I love the game even though I'm only 20 minutes in. The japanese voice acting is VERRRRY good, some of the best I have EVER heard. And the opening song is different, I like it :D.

I slept on my new pillow case lastnight and used my booby mousepad while playing WoW lol :)

I was a little embarrassed with the marketing campaign of this game D: It's not a hentai it's only rated Teen I don't understand why it's being so hyped as a "sex game". It should be marketing more to girls too. I really like the game and I'm a girl lol. 100 hours of playtime NOT counting side missions on a single playthrough, and many, many playthrus needed to unlock all the goodies/date all the girls, that's alot of replay value, and it plays alot like disgaia and other turn based strategy rpgs. My boyfriend watched me play a little lastnight and said it looked like FFtactics, and that he would "have to try it" Even though he doesnt like anime :).

Hmm but I'd like it morrrre if I wasn't stuck!! HALP! LOL
