   I posted this some time ago before the forum went down.  This one will be just like the Gundam Battle series but stretching across many of the Macross series instead.  Since fans know of Macross as both Robotech and Macross, couldn't you just release it as the one that would cost the least?  If you can't get it in cheap as one name, just try it as the other.  Though if Bandai doesn't give you a reasonable offer, then I doubt this will get created.

   Localized or not, if that game gets a good enough reputation I'll be importing it.
   
   I already like the Gundam Battle Universe game made by the same developer.

   Harmony Gold would never let this slip through. Anything that interferes with the bastardized canon of Robotech has little chance. I was surprised they allowed Animeigo to license SDF Macross years ago. This has zero chance.

   Either the game doesn't get released or they make a little money off of it.  Doesn't hurt to ask.  Does anyone still own the rights to Macross in the US(since some Macross movies were released under Macross, atleast I think so.)

   I already said, Harmony Gold. They have allowed a few Macross titles (mainly the Plus OVA, or the ridiculous II OVA)to trickle in, but for the most part they won't allow anything that messes with their bastardized take on it.
   
   Like I said, I was utterly amazed they allowed Animeigo to sublicense SDF Macross. Wish they would do the same for DYRL.

   I for one, would love to see this game localized. If it gets good reviews over there, that is  ;D

   It would be nice, but I doubt we will ever see the day. It would have been nice to see the Macross title for PS2 produced by Sega over here as well. It was damn fun and captured the essence of some of the hectic space battles pretty well.

   So Harmony Gold owns both the Macross and Robotech names.  I thought it'd only be Robotech when you first mentioned it.
   
   It's still worth a try to atleast get this game here.

   ^It is considered the same property to them -- how else do you figure they could use the Macross name in the franchise so frequently? They also rereleased the true SDF Macross a couple of years back after the sublicense to Animeigo expired.
