suppousedly both of them are going to be playable
according to the guy who leaked both the mvc3,ssf4, and mk rosters early
kokonoe is suppouse to play like baiken
i think this is why cs2 got delayed till the spring
i honestly dont think it takes that much time to release a goddam patch
which completly kills off all of our mains and time spent learning them
instead of just making a new game or have released cs with more characters
to begin with

It's a lot harder to make a balance patch then you seem to think it is, you can't just slap one out and call it a day. As for your mains? WHO GIVES A DAMN, you keep talking about that but it doesn't matter! if you drop your main just because the new patch makes them a little different, you shouldn't really be playing with them at all then. Someone who really intends to main a character will work with them no matter what
Releasing a new game would be pointless, CS2 would be exactly the same as 1, so now your charging us for the exact same game with only a couple bonuses like the DLC Characters and a Balance Patch, THAT will kill sales, not learning to be patient. I'm sorry you can't wait and need to have everything ASAP, but that's your problem, not Arcsys/

This is total bs... CS2 is only going to have platinum added in with an arcade mode for the dlc characters and rebalancing all the characters. But it's not surprising that in the next actual BB is when Relius will be playable, but Kokonoe? Nope.
And the whole Jubei thing beeing playable in BB 3 has already been confirmed by Mori or Daisuke that they won't be making him playable.

even though it was in teach me miss litchi it still is implied he will be playable
and i dont think arc system works i so cheap as to hype up the whole six heroes thing
with nine and jubei
and not make them playable
anything is possible in bb
hell i even thought of jubei sacrificing himself
for ragna like bloodedge did for jubei
and then musashi can be given to lord tenjous son but i REALLY DOUBT THAT WOULD HAPPEN

Looking at all the characters' crests, I'd say it has more in common with Carl's than any of the others.
And this is totally pointless. If they are gonna put in more characters and such then they can because the CSII cabinets can be updated like they wanted. At this rate I no longer care what else they decide to add just as long as it makes it way to consoles. All I would want in all honesty is a tournament style bracket system added to the online mode of the console version.

I'd just like a common survival mode like the Guilty Gear series AND Battle Fantasia have.
And the crest can be simply explained...
They added it to play with people's minds and cause people who speculate too much to do just that.

I thought Kokonoe was interesting in CS but I'm still pretty early into it to know her part yet. Maybe she's too important to the plot line? (What plot line? Hopefully that weird story mode from CS will finally make some sense. And I NEVER expected Nu to sound like she did in Ragna's bad story ending. ^_^ Oh god, I was laughing my head off at that one. It was... just SO out of character for ALL of those involved... especially Rachel! She was insane!) ^_^
To me though, she was acting kind of like C. Viper from SFIV... everything just seemed REALLY strange in CS... hopefully 2 will make more sense? I hope...

I found Continuum Shift's story to make a lot more sense on the whole, probably due to the absence of the time-loop that was occurring in the first game (basically, only the true ending actually happened.)
On the topic of characters, I'm waiting until Arc comes out and announces new ones, and not getting my hopes up for anyone before then.

Pointless speculation. Saying Kokonoe will play like Baiken simply screams hoax. There is no reason they would play anything like eachother other than they are both female characters with pink hair, which is baseless.
If BBCS2 gets more characters, I will feel surprised. I'm sure any future prospects such as Kokonoe or Relius are being saved for a tentative third installment.

well blazblue's mission is to replace gg. kokonoe does have a striking resemblance to baiken. similar to ranga and sol, jin and ky etc. it wont be a suprise if they fight similar. kokonoe was screaming to be playable since ct.
still if im not mistaken, baiken uses a blade and kokonoe uses claws...soo idk how thatll work. maybe a extend claw with followup, similar to baikens grapple hook.

BlazBlue's mission is NOT to replace Guilty Gear. This is a common misconception due to some people throwing around "spiritual sequel" when Calamity Trigger launched. They're two completely different things, and people should just let the comparisons rest, IMO.
I agree with zreb. CS2 is probably not going to get more characters - they're almost certainly saving things for a third installment. Even then, it's very difficult to guess in advance who will or won't be playable.
Horray for this finally coming true!!!!! Really excited for Relius joining the fray!!!
