One thing worth noting is that Agarest was originally only announced for PSN release as well.
Maybe history will repeat itself and 360 players will get a disc release. With an awesome limited edition, hopefully. :D

MemberRight, you've come halfway Aksys, and it's awesome you're bringing it over at all, but there a bunch of us 360 users that'll feel mighty left out if Arcana Heart 3 doesn't come out for our chosen console as well. It's expensive to produce physical disc copies of games, and if it sells below expectations it could be disastrous. Then there's the previously discussed issues with distributing it on Xbox Live. If the PSN version sells well, or if there's extremely substantial pre-release demand, they may consider a disc release. As you said, it did happen with Agarest, so perhaps it can happen again. And hopefully Aksys won't be subjected to all of the raging that accompanied Agarest's 360 release and limited edition.

I'm not even sure how you can say ps3 users get screwed. Each console has their own policies and Aksysgames have to abide by them. Any way they can get a game over here I will accept. I gives me a chance to play them and play them I shall.

MemberAlthough I don't have a problem with people disliking digital distribution (it has its fair share of flaws) I fall into Griefy's camp here. I'll take what I can get, and I do like the lower prices that generally come with downloads.
In terms of limited edition goodies we have gotten screwed before though, although that's more a side effect of the game being DD than anything. I don't particularly care for most LE goods, so it's not a problem for me, but I think saying we get "screwed" there is justifiable.

Retail releases have a lot more involvement and risk; advertising, shelf space, over/under estimating demand, etc
It's very likely that a digital release was chosen because Aksys worried about two critical factors: Price and Speed. A physical release would likely have cost more, probably around what BBCS did and would have taken much longer to get out.
I do believe it's Microsoft's miserable policy at fault here. They have no method to get out a larger, higher quality game to consoles unless you can already buy the game, that seems a tad silly.

I love the whole "since 360 owners are not getting it we wont build hype so your game will fail" & " I talk to game devs. from the biggest companies in the world and they tell me super secrets, and I was told that this game would make millions of $ ONLY if it's on XBL" I cant say I understand cos I own both systems for this reason. But you can be more mature about it. None of you work in the industry or you would not be on here. So quit claiming your thoughts will make or break the game. I hope it comes to 360 just for the true gamers who have enjoyed the game since the PS2 original. But 2011 is gonna be ruff for the 360 owners so you might wanna invest in something so your not spending the year on publisher forums complaining the game you want is a PS3 exclusive.
