Anybody here ever considered emailing Zen United and asking them if they could make their 360 release region-free? I tried a couple of weeks ago, haven't heard anything back from them, just thought it might be worth a shot.

Memberinstead of fighting piracy, counter it with awesome Limited Edition packages! What do you think they're doing in Japan? you can't win over piracy, but what piracy can't do is giving out all those very nice cool stuff you usually get with Limited packages (like a replica of someone's weapon in a game, or a music box, a beach towel with the main character printed on it, a nice Figma figure, a themed watch).
It's like saying "yes piracy is illegal, but look at everything you will NEVER get with pirated stuff!". In a way, they are discouraging their fans from pirating their games (without actually putting efforts and money in fighting piracy), and that's why they are all waiting in line at the game's release, to actually SECURE their awesome Limited Edition copy of the game!
Stop fighting and show us what you can do for your fans.
That said, i'll stop talking about piracy now.

Did the same thing the day Bel said Aksys wasn't localizing a 360 version.

Considering there are currently no plans to release this game on 360 in the U.S. (and likely never will be), I see no reason why the EU version shouldn't be region free.
But I'm not the guy who decides this.

I do not think a threat letter would help. I suggest 2 petitions. 1 for AH3 on 360 and 1 for getting that kid his achievements back and the cheater label to go away.

MemberAccording to that article the dude did in fact use a cheating device at one time so I'm not sure what you're trying to prove because clearly he violated their TOS and for that he should have to pay the price. If anything it's good that Microsoft has a firm stance on this issue because if they let anything go it would just detract from the enjoyment of the other players (non-cheating ones). Wish Nintendo would follow suit because WFC games are totally unplayable and in some games I feel like I'm the only one that's not cheating, just complete chaos

Being autistic does not change the fact that he allowed a third party to use his account for Recon armor in Halo. That constitutes as cheating.

Pretty ridiculous to label Microsoft as evil and Sony as good especially with all the lawsuits that Sony's been flinging around recently, better to just buy the platforms that most appeal to you because the politics are all the same

MemberI don' think all the blame goes to MICROSOFT some goes to AKSYS. I think if Aksys was going to released the game on disk MS would not have a problem. But I think Aksys want to go Download only on the game because of the bad sales of ARCANA HEART 1 on the PS2 by ATLUS.
I would not be so upset about Arcana Heart 3 if there was not a Japanese and European version coming. The game is already made for the 360. So the game not a PS3 exclusive just in the us only. I don't think it right. At least ATLUS is bring out both version Catherine for the PS3 and 360.Posted 2 years ago # -
