I will buy this for my friends too that have little money, I'll buy it even for the lazy cheap friends of mine that would only play something if someone buys it for them, lol XD. I will be sending PSN cards to them, and Aksys Games really deserves a lot of sales from Arcana Heart 3! There is so much content and quality there!

Arcana Heart 3 is the #1 most anticipated videogame ever for me and for many people I know! ^_^
I still have and play Arcana Heart 1 (which Atlus brought to PS2 in North America back then).

Arcana Heart 3 represents many great things, including the wealth of content, balance, depth, refined innovation, story, charisma and neverending fun that most games lack these days! I heard it's going only to cost about $30 on PSN!!! It's a steal at that price!! I approve of the decision to release it on the digital market, there are many more advantages and comfort that way and there would be no shortage of copies for people to obtain! ^_^

Having researched Arcana Heart 3 since it's arcade release long ago (and it's console port release last year in Japan), many people still unaware of this masterpiece will be soooo amazed and excited!!!

Examu deserves credit for creating AH3, Atlus deserves credit for introducing Arcana Heart in the west for the first time years ago, and Arc Systems Works deserves credit for porting it to PS3 with great quality,

but it's really Aksys that allows North America to have the complete Arcana Heart 3 experience without the language barrier getting in the way, as well as avoiding costly importing alternatives. :)

Well I can say thank you to Aksys millions of times, but the real thank you will come with supporting and purchasing and playing Arcana Heart 3. It truly is one of the greatest games ever created and it is in good hands! And there are many out there that deserve to discover and realize how great it is too! :)

I will join in with this person's statement. After AH2's bugginess and subsequent non export, I was truly worried for AH3.

I too am pretty hyped for this game being released on this side of the Pacific.

On a side note, I always found it strange that all the characters have their names in caps on the in-battle HUD except for "Weiß".

It's like OCD lurking like Giers.

I'm glad it's being released in the states, but I refuse to buy a $40-50 game I can't psychically hold, take to a friends house etc. Guess I'll be importing, unless it comes out on disc for PS3 or 360 in the States.

Random question, but what are you going to do then when all games migrate to disc-less download? You know it's going to happen at some point.

Not anytime soon. If you look at number for just movies it's 90% bluray/dvd vs 10% digital for 2010. And when everything goes digital, i don't know what I'll do. Maybe that's the day I stop playing games. I just don't understand why they would release this for PS3 only, you can import the ps3 version no problem.

Look at the PSP GO and how horrible that's doing compared to the PSP.

The digital market is a very good thing, if it wasn't for that, many games wouldn't have been developed/localized/released at all or they would have been released on portable systems, which have inferior hardware, controls and screensize, and they would suffer from no real online community for games that would have featured quality online play.

As for PS3, Importers are in the minority. The majority of people in North America prefer their games with 100% ENGLISH text and not having to spend about $100 for them.

A release on XBL is VERY EXPENSIVE in licensing costs alone (and disc based isn't cheap either.) . Considering that an NA release was denied possibly because of the fear that the profits would not cover the costs to release the title, we should all just be grateful that the title is seeing any sort of NA release AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

And if I only had a 360, I would buy a PS3 for Arcana Heart 3. Complaints about something not releasing on the console they own will just cause fools to miss out on a great thing! Anyways PS3s don't cost much these days, especially if you were to compare the price of a console with an arcade unit, people with jobs can afford a PS3 in just 1 or 2 weeks depending on their spending habits.

Besides 360 really isn't a good choice if you like a lot games made in Japan that rarely come here, if ever.

And if people known about Arcana Heart's history, every port was released on a Sony console in the past. Maybe that's because 360 is doing so bad in Japan, but aside from that, PS3 has a more effective control pad for fighting games.

I'm in the physical-only crowd too. As much as people think everything will go DL-only, there are still ALOT of us collectors out there, or people who don't want to easily fill up HDD with games.

Sorry, I'll have to pass on this, unless there's a limited run of disks for a higher price :(

I know, I have the first one (US version) and the 2nd one I imported from Play-Asia. The PS3 might have a better controller for fighting games, but I have a arcade stick for my 360, so I would prefer to use that.

Digital release? Ok. In the end haters gonna hate. I'll probably grab it since it's digital and I can use that as an excuse to not fill my cd case more. Here's to a good 2011.

no XBox 360 release? Aksys get no love from me. I don't think fans CARE about the costs of licensing and all that -your mother is a classy lady-, all they care about is the release of the game on their favorite console, and if you ask me, XBox 360 is the most popular console between this and PS3...

It's been a long time since I've seen a post so goddamned obnoxious. Alright kids, if a game only comes out on a platform you don't own, it's clearly YOUR FAULT. Mister Moneybags here says that you should starve yourself until you can afford it! Adjust your money AROUND your hobby! Let it CONTROL YOUR LIFE.

I mean, we can ALL afford to skimp on resources for fundamental human needs as long as we can play sweet, sweet Arcana Heart 3... Unless you stopped paying for electricity :O

Actually the more I think about it, I would buy the digital copy of AH3 IF that would help Aksys bring over a 360 disc version as well. I'll double dip, if it means I can get a psychical copy too. I just feel restricted by a digital copy, not trying to sound like an @$$. I just really like having a real copy.

360 is a favorite for whom? Most people that like either niche RPGs or fighters, use a PS3 for all that stuff (console-wise). 360 is a prefered shooter system, if anything.

Yes.

^Well, to be fair, for me who has friends with 360s it is a lot easier to play online with them and much convenient to organize matches. However, having a PS3 is also very reliable. I have both so I'm covered either way :P
Aksys has heard about all this before with Agarest, but for those who want to really want to address their concerns should really go to the source.

Wow you are exaggerating through your teeth; it's degrading. >_>

First of all, it's Miss Moneybags, I'll accept the 'moneybags' part as a compliment instead of an insult (and thank you for jumping to conclusions, thinking you can instantly guess someone's gender like some know-it-all, how does it feel being wrong?),
and second of all, I don't have a good paying job, yet I can still afford to buy another console if I wanted to (without sacrificing electricity/food!)

Not everyone is intelligent with saving and managing their money, but unless someone's a complete idiot, they aren't going to starve or have no electricity if they buy a new console, unless they are at the very bottom of the foodchain. Even then, there are people who are poor and they can still afford some things middle and upper class families own, and consoles like PS3 and XBox360 cost less than a lot of decent sized HDTVs. It's not like people are buying a new console EVERY season, really. 9_9 There are even low class families that own all 3 modern consoles and they didn't need to make sacrifices. They are probably laughing at your argument right now!

In fact, people have MONTHS to save up for a PS3 if they really want Arcana Heart 3 badly enough (if it's within their top priorities, I'm NOT telling anyone to forget their needed resources).

Those that don't want it as much, that's up to them what their priorities are, but it's pathetic complaining about a game your console isn't receiving and placing the blame on publishers or others instead of your own immature and self-centered attitude: "Me, me and always about me."

It's not like Xbox360 doesn't get games that PS3 will never have in its library.
Exclusives happen on all systems and for different reasons. Accept it.

You could wait hoping for a 360 version, or buy a PS3, or import the 360 PAL version if it isn't region locked, those are some of the 360 owners options that still want to play it.

And next time you want to try making me sound like a fool and twist my message, learn to avoid blowing things out of proportion. You make it sound like buying a console is like buying a freaking car!
