   Not everyone is intelligent with saving and managing their money, but unless someone's a complete idiot, they aren't going to starve or have no electricity if they buy a new console, unless they are at the very bottom of the foodchain. Even then, there are people who are poor and they can still afford some things middle and upper class families own, and consoles like PS3 and XBox360 cost less than a lot of decent sized HDTVs. It's not like people are buying a new console EVERY season, really. 9_9 There are even low class families that own all 3 modern consoles and they didn't need to make sacrifices. They are probably laughing at your argument right now!

   In fact, people have MONTHS to save up for a PS3 if they really want Arcana Heart 3 badly enough (if it's within their top priorities, I'm NOT telling anyone to forget their needed resources).

   Those that don't want it as much, that's up to them what their priorities are, but it's pathetic complaining about a game your console isn't receiving and placing the blame on publishers or others instead of your own immature and self-centered attitude: "Me, me and always about me."

   It's not like Xbox360 doesn't get games that PS3 will never have in its library.
   Exclusives happen on all systems and for different reasons. Accept it.

   You could wait hoping for a 360 version, or buy a PS3, or import the 360 PAL version if it isn't region locked, those are some of the 360 owners options that still want to play it.

   And next time you want to try making me sound like a fool and twist my message, learn to avoid blowing things out of proportion. You make it sound like buying a console is like buying a freaking car!

   Some people don't want to buy a second system they may only get 8 games for in its lifetime.

   This logic had prevented me from getting an xbox since I'm down to 1 game I'd get on the thing our at least I think there's still one. Anyways, EA and Ubisoft actually build there multi's from the ground up on ps3 then port over with better results from the other direction. Other devs try to build simultaneously and then you have people like Capcom who made the MT Framework to work with consoles easier for there games.

   That was kind of the point. I was also joking for the most part; I really didn't expect you to take it so seriously.

   Well it's not like "saner" is a particularly descriptive name (also because I'm extremely bored I threw it at Google and it is actually a German male's name so neener neener,) and the profiles on here don't state a person's gender...Why are you taking issue with this considering the anonymity that is inherent to the internet?

   Also "Mister Moneybags" rolls off the tongue better, in my opinion. I probably would've still said it even if I knew you were a woman.

   I'm really not gonna get into this debate about money and income. I pretty much agree with what the people after your response have said; people have different priorities in their lives. The main issue I have is just that,

   The game really isn't an exclusive. It's one thing if the team developing a game refuses to make a multi-platform release, but it's another issue entirely if the game exists on multiple platforms already but only one version is made available to players overseas (check out Konami's release of No More Heroes: Paradise. =( )

   Quite frankly, if the 360 game were region-free I would've been perfectly happy to import it. Instead I'll have to pay 345 for a PS3 (not including the game) just to play it?

   I get that Aksys has their reasons for this announcement, and I'm not bashing them here if that's what you're thinking. I just think it's unreasonable for anybody to expect that a "true fan" who doesn't have a PS3 already should buy one just for this barebones release.

   I hope you see where I'm coming from now. Sorry for complimentinsulting you.

   Well, I'm going to add my thanks to this list. Though, I don't see why this is PS3-exclusive. I guess it's a good thing that I have a both consoles(and prefer the PS3 for fighters anyway).

   And in any case, Xbox-only owners don't really have a right to complain, given how us PS3 owners get screwed over constantly (and much of the "screwing over" has been coming from Aksys games).

   Wait, what? If you'd bothered reading my posts in other threads, then you'd know that I'm not fond of the exclusivity.

   And where did you get "every game is objectively better on PS3" from? I never said anything like that. I've said before that I prefer the PS3 for fighting games, FPSes, and RPGs, but at the same time, I prefer the 360 for action games, adventure games, and some FPSes. I own both consoles, and like them equally.

   Yeah, I've been waiting since the arcade release for this. And was worried we wouldn't get it. Since AH2 was a glitchy mess and never came.

    but seriously, regardless of console preference, who uses the stock controller for these games? arcade stick is the only way to play

    If you'd bother to take context into account, you'd see that I was mocking you in that post.

    And in any case, you're putting words in my mouth. My preferences as far as consoles are purely subjective, and I don't claim that they are objective. I like different consoles for different games.

    Are you done with your douchbaggery? Or do you want to continue along with this grudge you seem to have against me?

    So answering "yes" to an objectively yes-or-no question constitutes mocking now? I'll try to keep that in mind.

    Aksys, whatever you do, don't overplay the whole "schoolgirl" thing in the advertising. It was really embarrassing how you marketed Agarest and Deathsmiles, and I really don't want to see anything like that again.

    Actually, I do use the normal controllers. I'll admit I have a callused thumb, but hey, I don't care.

    I would use an arcade stick, but I normally don't have the resources to buy one, and when I do, they are used for more games. My other option is to MAKE my own arcade stick, but I haven't found a good stick. The buttons I already have, as well as a 3rd party controller to dismember in the name of science... and games. Let's not forget games.

    Main: Lambda-11 (BBCS), Urs, Freed (BF) and Petra (AH3)
    Sub: Noel, Mu-12, Tsubaki, Taokaka and Makoto (BBCS), Olivia and Odille (BF), Akane (AH3)

    I have an older PS1/PS2 stick but that won't work unless I can find some sort of adapter to make a PS1/PS2 plug into a USB. Even then I'm not sure it will work.

    Yes it would help Arcana Heart 3 if Aksys markets it as a professional, deep and high quality fighting game, presenting the features, story, combinations and gameplay over the characters themselves (the characters can speak for themselves anyway). If Aksys markets and takes AH3 seriously, then the people will take it more seriously.

    People still questioning things like why not on Disk and why not on 360, here are some good reasons:

    no disc release in US for PS3 because Sony requires voice work in the language of the region and it's very costly to do so (which isn't worth selling on disk instead of in digital market if there is no history of the series selling great over here.)

    no 360 release because XBLA/Game of Disc rules will disqualify the home port

    no xbla because the home port is 2GB+, they won't allow anything on there over 800MB without a really good reason or lots of money involved.

    no Game of Disc because Aksys presumably won't waste the time/money to do so considering the bad history of sales in Japan despite the quality of this series.

    and before someone asks "well why not strip stuff out of the home port?????"
    it wouldn't be a home port then now will it?

    also the arcade game raw is over 800MB and we're not even counting menus/netcode stuff.

    Overall people should be thankful Arcana Heart 3 is coming to North America at all, fully translated and saves people at least $40 extra compared to importing it (and not able to understand the story and win quotes.) Also buying a console is really affordable compared to buying an arcade unit.

    So anyone really interested in Arcana Heart 3 shouldn't miss out. :)

    You know, size constraints might be a reasonable explanation for the lack of a 360 version.
