I wouldn't call it a "lost cause" until Sony says that they're not going to allow it to be released, which is, unfortunately, a possibility. Aksys is obviously looking at the possibility of bringing over more VNs, so I think it's absolutely possible to at least convince Aksys to give it a shot.

MemberThe only Tales games that have done "well" would be Symphonia and perhaps its sequel. If the other ones made a profit for Namco, it was very minor.
Graces f is the first Tales games to have been localized in two and a half years, and numerous games were released in Japan in that span of time, so they definitely don't "keep getting localized." Even when games were getting localized, only a select few titles made it out of Japan.

MemberThere has only been one mothership title released since Vesperia besides Graces and that was Tales of Hearts which was a DS game anyways so its not like they aren't getting localized. We get a majority of the mothership titles and thats all I really care about. We really shouldn't be talking about Tales Of though on a Aksys forum though.

MemberPretty sure Tales games don't bomb too hard but it's not exactly a property that screams LOCALIZE, especially when the domestic sales probably contribute 90% of the total sales which means no doubt they would much rather focus on bringing over games with western appeal, games like Afro Samurai and Splatterhouse

Tales of Vesperia is the 2nd best selliing Tales game right after Symphonia.
