Hello, I picked up Guilty Gear XX AC for the PS2 and was happy to hear that the bug fixes from the JAP version were fixed (as I had a friend tell me about said bugs with his import copy).
However, I heard that Japan released a "Plus" version of Accent Core with a new storyline, new modes, and the return of Kliff Undersn and Justice.
So, the question I have (for the higher-ups) is will AC+ ever be released in North America, or is it a Japan exclusive?
I only ask because I would love to play with Kliff again, and am very curious about these "new modes"

I know you guys did a great job bringing over AC, but is there any plans to bring over AC Plus on either system in the US? Seriously, I miss mission and story mode. Accent Core Plus advances the story since GGX2 and I do care about that kinda stuff.
During the Guilty Pleasures Panel at AX 2008, Aksys offered "no comment" about GGXX: AC Plus localization.

MemberI assume that they're waiting at least a year (or a little bit more) before they release Accent Core+ for the North American PS2 at a budget price of $29.99.
A lot of PS2 games are coming out at that price these days, so I wouldn't be too surprised if AKSYS Games did so as well.
People will eat it up which in turn means lots of quick profit for them.

So, Japan got Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus about 10 months after the original. 10 months after the USA got the original would be July 2008.
However, keep in mind that this game was localized for the North American region so it could take a bit longer. Also, AKSYS Games isn't that big of a company so if they are planning on localizing the game, then it'll take a bit more time to gather the resources and the getting the ok from the Japanese company.Posted 3 years ago # -
