Looks like an under-age girl dating sim, no chance anyone will pick this up

It's not much of a dating sim so much as a mystery game. I haven't played the pc ver but it's basically a group of friends that go to summer school to some institute and then when they come back, they're the onlys ones left alive in the world. Something like that.
"Looks like an under-age girl dating sim, no chance anyone will pick this up"I would never call Cross Channel a dating. This probably has one of the best stories I've ever read. So I would buy it cause its my favorite visual novel so far.
Wow, I knew there was a PSP release, but now a 360 one? I remember seeing screenshots of CC years and years back. There's a sequel, isn't there?
BTW, has anyone downloaded the visual novels on the independent section of XBL? They're in Japanese, bu they're really short (at least the one I tried).
It would be cool if another independent company contacted these guys and translated it. There are quite a few visual novel-esque release on XBLI already.
I'll support this, as I would definitely purchase it. I'd rather see Umineko first, then E17 second, but this is a healthy 3rd.

According to wikipedia: Cross Channel (officially spelled CROSS†CHANNEL) is an adult visual novel developed by Flying Shine for the Windows and PlayStation 2 platforms. The Windows version was released on September 26, 2003, and the PS2 version (CROSS†CHANNEL ~To all people~) on March 18, 2004. A PlayStation Portable port of the PS2 version was released on February 25, 2010 and a XBOX 360 port with added content (CROSS†CHANNEL ~In memory of all people~) will be released on March 31, 2011. An English translation patch to the game was released on August 26, 2009.
Since the game has already been translated, I really don't see the point of this.
No Xbox user is going to give up on Gears of War 3 in order to play a Visual Novel.

Gears of War?
I have an Xbox but never played those games, although maybe someday.
I would prefer to play a VN instead of an already popular series that gets plenty of attention.
And besides, it'll probably be region-locked and a lot of people are unwilling to import a Japanese Xbox AND/or mess around with it so that it displays text in english.
I've wanted to play Cross Channel for quite a long time and getting this would be awesome, especially if it has some new content like Ever17.
Screw Gears of War! I want Cross Channel!

Not everyone is willing to use patches, you know.
Good size audience on xbox that couldn't care less about Gears. I bought the first one, didn't like it so I didn't try the second one and won't be getting the third unless the gameplay is totally different.

Think I'll just go ahead and leave this here...
There's a patch? I may have to try it out then...

I feel sorry for the girl; about to get abused by some perverted freak.
And then you wonder why these games don't get localised...
