Why the hell do people complain about the roster? GET OUT. Not like you're gonna play as every single character and technically Blazblue is a new franchise so why do people expect so much? Not only that but the characters in BB are a lot more diverse compared to other fighting games. But I do agree that the character dlc is a bit pricey...

Does the guy who got interviewed realize that people raised with a certain form of media being a norm raise the probability that audience continuing to partake in it? On top of that, video games usually are a more immersive form of media than books or movies, which all tend to have a lot more going for them than something you grow too old for like hop-scotch. So with that out of the way, what does he think is the average age of a Guilty Gear player, like 60?

Anyhow, Guilty Gear becoming too secluded to the hardcore players is a valid point, but don't replace Guilty Gear with BlazeBlue, let them co-exist as they both appeal to slightly different audiences & Blazblue can serve as an introduction game to Guilty Gear.

I agree with having both BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. There's enough love in my heart for both of them. =P

Yeah, I don't know where he got the "too old" thing from either. At any rate, in a separate interview with the same two people posted somewhere in this thread, they said they were in fact making a new Guilty Gear game. Hopefully that's true.

Accent Core Plus is already on PSP, though, so why port over the original?

My guess is it's either some sort of event or a new game (the latter seems personally unlikely to me; why would Zen United announce a new game before Arc?)

Arc probably told Zen that there was a new game or something. Just my prediction even if its insane. :D

We can only hope. If they are announcing a new game, though, I think I'd prefer if it was a brand new game rather than an HD version of Accent Core.

Complaining about the roster, especially compared to something like the Street Fighter franchise is just plain silly. Most of the SF characters are just clones with different sprites and slightly different inputs anyways.

I'd much rather Arc Sys take their time with Blazblue to grow it out evenly.

And I'd love to see a new Guilty Gear, but one that utilizes some of the concepts introduced in Blazblue, such as beginner mode and more work to the story. This would make it more accesible to more people, and the hardcore could still have what they enjoyed about it.
