MemberYeah, there's a strange file called 1.02 available ONLY for the 360... anyone know what this is? It DOESN'T seem to be the CS2 everyone's looking for but just the same does anyone know what it is? It should also be mentioned that it's ONLY on XBLA... PSN does NOT have it, nor do they even offer it. I have the PS3 version so I'm not really concerned but...

Leave it to the UK to get the news before we do... ~_~ And even now they're not sure when they're going to see it. But it sounds like it'll be a HUGE DLC when all is said and done. I wonder how much the thing'll be. It's definitely jumping from a free download to a monster rather quickly.

That article doesn't back up your information at all. Where did you hear about this massive dlc thing?

Last I recall, Platinum wasn't released until CS2 Cabinets were being loc tested. So i'd be more hard pressed to think it be the other way around

MemberAll that the consoles will be getting are a balance patch and Platinum dlc. There won't be any other stuff on the console. Otherwise they wouldn't have bothered with a handheld release. The extras that come on the handheld will stay exclusive to the handheld. I.e. extra story and additional arcade modes for the dlc characters.

I have the PS3 version so I'm not really concerned but...It's called an update bro and ps3 had it long before xbox had a working one. There is nothing strange about it. If they release platinum they may just call it 1.03 (you'll be prompt for update when shiz is ready) but a major title update (CS2) may get the 2.0 treatment depending on how much content is added/changed. Some games do get changed a lot to warrant a 2.0 patch.
