Listen, All we fans care about is having the game on BOTH consoles, not just the PS3. As an Arcana Heart fan I expected the game to be released on both and was planning purchasing it for my 360 since most of my friends have 360.
I felt very betrayed by Aksys decision and decided to go vocal about, why do you feel the need to WHITE KNIGHT them I don't know, why bring console wars to this topic I don't know either, however I do know this company like all other just want to make some money and "WE" as fans are voicing our opinions because you know, making them know might help some instead of just being silent.
talking about console wars I just want to point out a thing that was missed, FF13 on PS3 was very superior to the 360 version, I bought the PS3 version over the 360 just because of this, also did another friend of mine who plays 360 90% more time than his PS3. only folks who didn't have a PS3 were forced to get it on 360 (either that or Achievement whores)
Incidentally, reports (people arguing on internet) say that the (Japanese) 360 version of Arcana Heart 3 is better than the PS3 version (online at least) there were 2-3 issues, one of team was the netcode for PS3 was bad. however you never know, maybe Zen United and Aksys will fix these "Issues" on their release.
Aksys has not done all it can to release the game on 360 because they could just do it if they wanted to there's nothing stopping them, MS isn't, the game has all the requirements for release ON DISC, not XBLA, heck thanks to Aksys releasing the PSN version, Zen United will probably be forced to region lock AH3 as to not affect the US publishers sales number. (hopefully im wrong).
In the end Like I said its probably just Aksys not wanting to bother with a disc release on 360, maybe thinking it wont sell good enought and instead of admitting it they are just cowards and hope their "WHITE KNIGHTS" will continue on defending them.

Aksys has mentioned many times that they do read the boards here, so they know the deal - you know they knew once the decision has been made. There's not much else that can happen now. This thread can reach 600 pages and it wouldn't probably change anything, so que sera, sera.

And as Fans you should understand not EVERY game going to come out on both systems it happens on them all its nothing new in the gaming world and yet again you say aksys didn't want to bother with a disk release or saying they didn't try enough. I don't know if i should laugh harder at that mind set or just facepalm over it like i said i don't mind going vocal about things but think before you post when you say things that you don't have pure facts on it makes you look like a child this stuff alway happen

I guess it's kinda off topic, but considering Arcana Heart 1 was brought here (I forget who brought it over), and Aksys brings over Arcana Heart 3, what ever happened to Arcana Heart 2? Was it ever brought over here?

Ah I see. I do find it a little weird to get AH3 but never seeing the second one.
Well, in a way, it's sorta related to the current discussion (maybe?) How not everything can come to the US?

good old Atlus brought the first Arcana Heart.
well for every action comes a reaction, they decided to be dicks and not bring AH3 for 360, so I reacted, had they at least told the truth as to why. hell Aksys said the were not in the liberty of discusing why, if Sony bought exclusivity then I would understand but they haven't given us any reason so why not complain about it.
Arcana Heart 2 was said to have been poorly ported on PS2, could have been the reason it never got ported.
Well thank Zen United for listening to us, at least you guys did, and I know international copyright laws are binding you from being able to release the game region free.
you say fan entitlement sure is horrible, but you are missing a point here, the thing already exists, they just decided to ignore half the fanbase, had the game only existed as a PS3 game then I would see no problem, here since the game was announced and released in japan for both consoles fans were delighted that we might have gotten the game released here.
I won't stop buying new Aksys games as they do bring some good games over here, however I do feel "entitled" to tell them -your mother is a classy lady- You when they pull dick moves and if the PS3 version European version is indeed region free I'll import that, I wont waste the money on a downloadable version of the game, in this scenario I will choose to give my money to Zen United to vote with my dollars, this is gamers ways of telling Aksys that we'd like a disc release.
I facepalm at many of you "Gamers" here, why settle with the scraps Aksys is drooping you guys with? we has "Gamers" should have standards that companies should follow, I can't believe that you are so urged to play a game that if a company releases it in a -your mother is a classy lady- format you guy will just eat it up, can't you guys stand up and just say "NO" we don't want it like this?
Imagine to a movie buff, waiting for some obscure movie to be released on DVD/Blu Ray and then Netflix saying, hey we got the rights for the movie but it will only be available via streaming cause we don't want to release it via dvd/blu ray, even though it is already available in many other countries, I bet the movie buff would be pissed and just pirate the damn movie, would probably also say, heck the quality even looks better and is more convenient than having the disc release as a way to excuse himself of having pirated the movie. (of course in a more real scenario the movie buff would have a multiregion dvd player and importing would be just fine)
Also Have fun Aksys releasing on PSN and having 1 guy buy the game and 4 others playing for FREE. hell with the cost of this game, more players will probably share the cost. $$$/5, its gonna be really cheap for PSN users.
For now all thats left is wait for E3 and see If Aksys announces anything there.

MemberAs several people have pointed out before, no one's told us WHY the game is PSN-exclusive in the first place. The only people that know the reasoning behind it is Aksys themselves, and clearly, they can't/don't want to talk about it. Isn't it kind of dangerous to point the finger at Aksys and assume it's their fault and that they're just "ignoring" you when you don't even know what caused the game to be exclusive? It could have just as easily been Microsoft or someone else.

Kinda offtopic here but so many run-on sentences make my head hurt. Just thought you should know that and all. At any rate, I would support Aksys on this and buy their version but as kaingarland said, some people like to have hard copy versions and the only way I would have done that was by getting the Xbox version since I already have the Arc System Works/Examu version. Oh well, that's money saved at any case and I can go buy MK9 now.
Oh well......whenever the PS3 version gets released, I can start playing again (as of this moment, it's not out in the PSN market).
