I've just been having a hellish week in general. Not your average "Oh wah, my PSN's ish gone!" Or "Dammit, I'm falling behind!" I've been in and out of the hospital. I'm just looking forward to relaxing. =p

Sorry if I seem like a prick/whiny. -_- I just want a bit of downtime of my own, kinda jealous of this inanimate program. XD

Generally about the entire situation. To many people just going "whatever, just get psn back up" all over their blog and facebook page. I'd be more concerned about just how skilled these hackers were and just how much damage they can do just because and to whoever they choose.

If I had the money, I would buy a 360 right now. erghh. Console + BBCS + HRAP V3 SA + live = too much for now =( Would buy not because of impatience, but because somedays I just can't find lobbies on BBCS; it would be nice to have two pools to draw from.

The Sony blog comments are pretty much always fail.

I don't really use PSN all that much, but I would like for it to get back up so I can use the store and at least have online as an option. Hopefully they can get the whole thing figured out soon.

It's not so much "whoever they chose." Sony had piss poor security. If they were skilled enough to mess with big names they would have by now, but they are only capable of bypassing Sony's, used to be, horribad security. That's why the PSN is down, and nothing else has been.

Actually, I heard something like their security wasn't as bad as the press made it sound. Someone had said something about their server stuff being years old, but then someone else came along and said they had the latest updates of whatever this apache thing is. So, I'm really not sure who to believe anymore. I'm just ready for things to get back to normal

Well, rumors claim it may not be till the 31st now.

But it's a source that always loved sensationalism, so I doubt it.

According to gamespot, Sony is aiming to bring PSN back up on May 31st.

So, I hear that patches have still been working regardless of PSN being down. Can we get some official confirmation on whether or not the ps3 will still be getting the patch on Thursday?
