I'm curious what everyone thinks of the new patch that was released for Blazblue. I've been a Nu user since the original and have stuck with Lambda ever since, but from what I can tell she feels a bit more fun than she used to be and her advanced combos upped the skill-level necessary to be good with her. I still see her having problems with characters that have the speed advantage over her, wherein they're too fast to accurately zone well, such as Bang or Tao.
I'm a bit bummed about the loss of invincibility on start up for gravity seed. It seems too easy to keep Lambda pressured in the corner but conversely it seems as though she can apply a sizable amount of corner pressure herself. Her zoning improved a great deal thanks to 6D and gravity seed's shorter cooldown on whiff, also 236D lasts a bit longer so her zoning game got improved overall.
I do enjoy her new combos a lot. It feels as though whatever combo I manage to snag it'll hover around 3.5k-4k without meter and some of them are quite fun. Overall I like the changes a lot and have been playing player matches for quite awhile now. A lot of Platinum the Trinities out there, but rather fun to play against her since she's new. Sadly, the ones I've fought only spam her surfboard... makes for very boring play.
Anyways, those are my thoughts of Blazblue CSII balance patch. I know they only pertained to Lambda but that's really the only character I play and hope people who play other characters will be more insightful with the changes that occurred with the patch.
