The lack of sleep mode is a little frustrating, I really do hope that Aksys will communicate these concerns over to Arc for a possible patch.
No Sleep mode, no analog control, no online play, and poorly implemented 3D that severely hinders having smooth FPS unless you disable it.
I'm happy that Aksys gave us this localized release, and understand that they're not to blame. However, We payed $10 more for the 3DS version over the PSP version. We bought a rough beta of a game at retail price, and the least Arc could do is release a patch to help soothe the pain caused by their rushed PSP port to 3DS.
Do I expect analog support?
No, D-Pad is the clear choice of control for this title.
Do I expect 3D to be fixed to bring the FPS up to snuff?
Probably too late for that, so lets thank our lucky stars we can disable 3D and play the game smoothly.
Do I expect Online play?
Well, Online play on a fighter in this day and age is a no-brainer, but we didn't get it. An update that would allow online play would be a godsend. This is the best game on 3DS, and lack of online play is a severe disappointment to all fighting game fans that own a 3DS.
Do I expect Sleep Mode?
YES. There's absolutely no excuse for this mistake. The lack of sleep mode hinders the portable experience.
The sleep mode problem NEEDS to be fixed with a patch, there's no argument there. However, an update that included online play would make this title a great seller, and I'd think that increased sales would be motivation enough for a game company to consider such a well deserved and needed update.
