Just wondering if there was plans to localize Agarest Senki 2 and will we EVER see a physical copy of the first one on PS3? It sucks having to download it with a terrible connection and I know plenty of others decided not to give it a try simply because of that fact. I think you would sell a ton of copies if you pumped out a disc version of it. :p

As far as I understand there will never be a physical copy of the first.
As for the second well, get out there and buy Zero and chances are more likely we'll get 2!

Basically you can play through an abridged version of Agarest War 1 and then if you find the "Forbidden Tomes" (some are DLC), you can use specific characters from Agarest War 1 in your party too :)

MemberI just dl'd and started playing Agarest war from the psn....took about 12 hours to do to...but im loving the game so it was worth it....to me atleaste...I just let it dl when I went to bed and for the better part of morning.....

Personally, I think Aksys is gonna wait until a 360 version of Agarest Wars 2 comes out before bringing it over. Bringing it out for the largest amount of people and all.

MemberUh to the OP No Record of Agarest War will never be on a disk for the PS3 (I gave in and dl'd it ,when I woke up the next day it was all finished) Its not a horrid bad thing just annoyingly time consuming if you expect it to be dl'd in a timely manner...It wont be.
As for agarest senki 2 I kinda hope its going to be out for just the ps3 disk wise, hell xbox got a disk for RoAW and we didnt why shouldnt it be in reverse this time? With all the pervyness(LE version) WE missed out on for the ps3 I might add would be nicePosted 10 months ago # -

Basically its a barebones story of the first game without the battle points or customization options as far as over seen. You also unlock characters from 1 into Zero this way. Its offered by the first town extra mode. It also features the improvements to battle that were made in Zero but not the animated portraits. You can also tell just how much better the sprites and areas look in Zero. :l It does not offer achievements or trophies of the first however. Its just extra material. Overall its a passable offering of the first game as it has the story and allows you to play the important battles. No annoying quest or battle points between story points.
