I just started to play RoAWZ and just got to the first few events and such, and suddenly this dialogue was popping in my head for some reason. The conversation I was thinking of was based on what probably might have happened shortly after the fight with the giant plant monster.

Sieghart: It appears I won this contest, you two.

Friedelinde: B-But we didn't get a chance to attack!

Sieghart: My apologies, Linda, but I did say that I would not hold back.

Friedelinde: Y-Yes, b-but...your weapon...you're not supposed to have something that powerful this early in the game?!

Eugene: At least your weapon isn't a carrot... Anyways, Captain, as the winner, what will you have Friedelinde do, hmm?

Friedelinde: Wha--?!

Sieghart: Was this not a contest between the three of us?

Eugene: ...(Tch. So much for getting out of this one.)

Sieghart: As you said, Eugene, the losers are to do the bidding of the winner, am I right?

Eugene: Yes...

Friedelinde: ... (W-What are you thinking of, Captain?)

Sieghart: Well then, as the winner, I ask that you both--

Eugene: ... (Here it comes--!!)

Friedelinde: ... (Please, oh please don't make me do anything with that jerk!!)

Sieghart: ...continue to do your best on the battlefield.

Eugene/Friedelinde: ... (That's it?!)

Sieghart: Well then, if their are no complaints, let's continue on. *Sieghart leaves*

Friedelinde: *sob*

Eugene: What are you crying about?

Friedelinde: Shut up, jerk!!

Eugene: Geez, fine, fine... *leaves*

Friedelinde: *sob* (Stupid, stupid, stupid!! I could have gotten Sieghart to...why did it have to end up this way...)

Aside from the first part, I don't know how Linda will turn out when I get her back.

I thought about this scene from the dialogue at the end of the Confine Bourne event.

*At Forster Haing*
*Eugene is sitting next to the window, staring outside*

Eugene: *Sigh* Oh Ellinor...how I miss you so...

Sayane: Eugene seems rather troubled...

Galios: Pay no attention to him. He is simply depressed over his misspent funds.

Sayane: ...?

Alice: Hahaha! We mages need plenty of food to fuel our magic.

Cal-Vina: Indeed. Perhaps he'll learn to use his head than his wallet.

Galios: Hmm.

Eugene: *sigh* I've never thought I'd see the day I'd be depressed to be here...why must fate be so cruel...

*Sieghart, Mimel, and Tetora walk in*

Sieghart: We're back.

Eugene: Captain!!

*Eugene runs to Seighart*

Sieghart: Eugene?! What's the --

Eugene: Please, captain, do you have any money I could borrow?! I promise I'll pay you back, you have my word!!

Sieghart: Well, I don't see why not...

Eugene: Oh, captain, I knew I could count on you!!

Sieghart: I would give you some...if only I had some to spare...

Eugene: ...Eh?

Sieghart: I used the funds given to me to procure equipment and rations for our journey.

Eugene: ...

Galios: It would appear he's overcome with shock.

Alice: Hahaha! It would appear so!

Sieghart: Eugene? Are...are you alright?

Can't say I remember the Confine Bourne event, so I didn't find that one as funny as the first.
Oh and trust me, you'll enjoy every event scene with Linda once shes back in your party.

I combined both the Forest of the Lost event and the Confine Bourne event together. When you meet Tetora for the first time Eugene treats her (and I guess everyone too) to food. Later Eugene mutters to Tetora for actual funds at the end of Confine Bourne event. Sorry, forgot the name of that forest at the time, so didn't mention it.

Can't wait to see what happens next when I get Linda again.

Lol, now I see what you mean. After reading how awkward you said she'd be, I thought she be the overly protective "girlfriend" and gets jealous over seeing Seighart with another girl. From the first part of the Enene Plains event, Linda is exactly how I thought she'd turn out to be. This conversation I thought of is after the second Enene Plains event, where Linda tries to be...direct with Seighart, and you choose to "Take the Brut of her attack."

*At camp, night*

Linda: *sob* How could I do that to the captain?! I wish I could throw myself in the ocean!!

Eugene: To push Sieg off the cliff...I didn't think that would have happened...

Linda: *sob* Ah...I can see it now...C-Captain marrying another woman...while I stand by...my love left unrequited...

Eugene: Now, now...despite your stupidity, the captain's ok...

Linda: *sob* As the captain enjoys his life...I...I will be left alone...alone to grow old and wither away...

Eugene: Are you even listening to me?

Linda: *sob* Why must fate be so cruel?! Why must I feel this way?! How could I live with myself?!

Eugene: ...

Linda: *sob*F-Forgive me C-Captain!! I...I won't do it again!! Waaahhh!!!

Eugene: I think...you've had way too much, cousin...

I remember Eugene getting food, I just forgot that he asks for funds back.

But yeah, I told you Linda was pretty akward and funny. I loved that event, although I think I chose a different option (whichever the true path has it) but it was still very funny. I enjoyed your take on what would happen after :P

I can't imagine how much food was actually bought...

Ultimately, I chose to "Draw my sword and defend." Considering that the event had the making to something funny, I looked at all 3 and the third was the best.

I suppose this is a continuation to the previous one I thought of.

*Camp, the next morning*

Linda: *sigh*

Eugene: Are you still depressed?

Linda: Shut up...how can I not be depressed...I still can't believe I pushed him off...

Eugene: He's fine...just look over there.

Linda: C-Captain?!

*She runs to Sieghart*

Eugene: My my...

Linda: C-c-c-c-captain!!

Sieghart: Ah, Linda, how are--

Linda: P-please excuse my behavior the previous day!! I-I will not attempt such a senseless act again!!

Sieghart: You have nothing to worry about, Linda. I admit, I was taken by surprise by the sudden act. It shows I still have some training to do.

Linda: I-I see. C-captain...are you injured in any way?

Sieghart: Not at all. Everyone tended to me and I was able to recover rather quickly.

Linda: Everyone?

Sieghart: Ah, Routier made a delicious soup to help me recover my energy, Sayane and Mimel rubbed my back to ease the pain from the fall, and Tetora kept me company as I recovered.

Linda: ...

Sieghart: If you'll excuse me Linda, I have to see to the men.

*Sieghart walks away, Eugene walks up*

Eugene: Ah...looks like their getting ahead, while your...uh...Linda?

Linda: I-I see...

Eugene: L-Linda? What are you--

Linda: I-If the captain gets injured...I could nurse him...or maybe I could wash him...

Eugene: Linda?! Get a hold of yourself!!

Yeah, I finished the first generation and chose Sayane as my wife (and little did I realize that when you have a girl completely in love with you, you get treated to something...nice?) I have a few skits up to that point...and one based off the two line conversation in the profile gallery.

What do you mean by something nice? I'm guessing you're talking about the movie thing of them being 'freed' as they say?

I chose Linda only because the other weapon types I didn't want (Sayane would of given me guns and Routier would of given me staff I think). I'm on my second playthrough now though and will probably choose who I wanted to (Routier). It'll probably be for best since I'll need balance mix of melee and magic in the Boundary Plane.

The little movie after you see them in their wedding clothes. I guess you can say 'freed' is one way of putting it.

Hmm...out of the three, I would choose Routier next. As funny as the cutscenes with Linda were, I think Routier's character rubbed off on me more. Some of the vacation day and a few other skits made me like Routier over Linda. Never really put much thought in terms of weapons though. While choosing the 5 cards at the beginning, a few of the cards I picked did have guns, so overall, my first choice wasn't bad.

Well, the game calls it 'freed', but yeah I know what you are talking about.

Routier was my favorite character in the first gen out of the heroines (Mimel is probably my favorite out of everybody). In all honesty I didn't care too much for Sayane. One thing that kind of disappointed me was the lack of character development for the heroines, in the first game there was seemingly more events to build character development for them.

Hmm...I wasn't sure which one to choose at first, until after the events at the mountain village (I forget it's name.) After that event, and the funny scene afterwards, I decided to go with Sayane.

As for the first game, I haven't really touched it since I got my second ps3 ( I had it on my first ps3, but that one got stolen.) Their's that, and the fact that I heard about Zero coming out soon. I decided to play through Zero first, before going to 1, since I guess...zero's first, then 1 is next in terms of story...I guess.

Well, I'm sure you've heard that once you beat the game that you can play the original on Zero on Extra mode. I didn't realize how much more polished Zero was until I did Extra mode and starting playing the original. Still fun though. I personally like the story better in the original, although it does drag on a bit with it being 5 generations and all. I'm sure you'll see what I mean about there being more character development once you play it.
