MemberI'd definitely want Agarest 2 for Xbox360, but it's an uphill battle. IF/CH are small companies and the effort to port a game to a platform that has little to no userbase in their native Japan might not sound like such a smart move. That being said, I refuse to believe that they wouldn't keep into account that Agarest's success in the US is owed, at the very least in small part, to the Xbox 360 version. Aksys's clever marketing definately generated some buzz while the PS3 version constantly ran into problems wich were, in my mind, undoubtedly caused by SOA (but that's another story for another day). A recent interview on Siliconera completely missed addressing the issue of a multiplatform release for Agarest 2 in the US, the only resulting answers were the standard "yeah we'd love to release it in the US" but nothing more. My guess is that if we don't hear of a Xbox360 version by this year's TGS, then us Xbox360 users will be left out in the cold. Here's hoping that IF/CH can see beyond what most JP devs have been doing and break out of this platform exclusive/portable centric mentality.

PS3: JP November 18, 2010This could mean, we will see a JP 360 version of Agarest War 2 in December 18-21 this year.
Then in 2012 should US and maybe EU get Record of Agarest War 2.

MemberWow I support this thread! Yeah we already have 2 out of 3 games of the agarest series and ( pretty much ) a lot liked it, including me! :D. I dun see any reason why aksys shouldn't publish RoAW2 :D

Almost perfect timing for a TGS reveal right? I'm really hoping it comes true. The battle system for Agarest 2 looks simply amazing.

Xbox 360 - 25.4 million unit sold in US as of March 31, 2011As you can see from the charge is there sold 4 as many PS3 in Japan, than Xbox 360.
You can also see, that US and UK is the only 2 country, wear Xbox 360 sales more than PS3.So it would only be natural for a gaming company in JP to focus on polish the PS3 version before tempting a Xbox 360 Copy.

Ps3 ver. released - 11/18/10Given the nature of their pattern we should see an announcement within the next month or two. As mentioned Hyperdimension Neptune Mk-2 comes out on the 18th so they could shift their attention to a Xbox 360 port afterwards. Oddly enough Hyperdimension never got ported to the Xbox 360 since they immediately started work on the sequel.
