So Aksys, how well did Arcana Heart 3 do/is it doing?

Pretty impressive just looking at the ranking, but I'm not really familiar with the level of success the other titles on the list saw, so I was wondering if we could hear anything a little more concrete.

I don't expect direct sales numbers (though even an estimate would be wonderful), but a general statement like "it met/exceeded/failed to meet expectations" would be good if nothing else. I've honestly been pretty worried about it ever since PSN went down the week it came out. From what I've seen in AH3 communities, it seems to be a pretty widespread concern.

Anyway, if you're able to provide anything, that's great, and if not, well that's just business.

But I think there is a lack of transparency in this case.
One should not complain if people take the wrong conclusions (as the involvement of money or similar situations). The act of hiding the reason breeds suspicion among consumers.
Anyway, sorry for asking.

I can understand the disappointment about it but its not like they can tell us they bell even said himself they can't talk about. Maybe it will end up like how agarest was for the ps3 or not things happen all i can tell you is keep up getting support for a release on xbox just don't do anything to crazy or things will never work out.

What was disappointing is that only the North American public was unable to play Arcana Heart 3 on Xbox 360. This is not a PS3 exclusive game. Is this fair?

It isn't a case.
They aren't hiding the reason. They cannot state the reason.
If companies were completely transparent, then there would be no competitive advantage.

I think the last time a company said something they shouldn't have was Working Designs. They didn't last long after that. You shouldn't pry methinks.

Anyway, on topic, I'm glad Aksys is happy with AH3 sales. I've done my part in buying it even though I imported it.

I think I'm going to import a Limited Edition of AH3. I like extra goodies.

I bought AH3 through the PSN, but I'm a sucker for those little extras that come packaged in LE/CE. <3

You raise reasonable points, so consider this: We're perfectly away of the fact that a lack of explanation breeds speculation, so why would we refuse to say anything if we had any choice in the matter? I appreciate your position, but as asrttyoxo said (or at least implied) no business can afford to be completely transparent.

I can tell you, however, that Sony did not pay for exclusivity for Arcana Heart 3. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar and rogue.

Data, data, data. I cannot make bricks without clay.

So I'm guessing there may be a chance that AH3 may come to the 360 in the US? But I'm just getting my hopes up over nothing though...Even though I already got it for the PS3 at least...

I don't believe much in this possibility.
Users of the Xbox 360 NTSC-U had hoped that the European version of the game Arcana Heart 3 had region free, but it has region locked too.
The U.S. release should have come out in April (the month in which the American version became available for the PS3).
By the time that has passed simply understand that users of Xbox 360 NTSC-U can't play Arcana Heart 3. It's a bad end.
Now, about AKSYS, still considered unethical hide (or don't indicate, would be the same thing) the reason why this occurred.
Anyway, I believe that requests from users (not only here) is not lacking, there are many complaints and questions of why this has occurred. Completion, the North American public was excluded without knowing why.

Arrgh, it isn't unethical. They just can't say. That is like me asking for your social security number and you not providing it to me. Is it unethical for you not to provide it?

can you tell us if it is MS or Aksys polcies that is stop the game from coming on the 360 in the USA? I like to know who I need to write.
