Atlus is probably going to localize everything all by themselves, I don't think Aksys will even get to peek at the game before any of us.

it is Atlus game so i hope so....Persona is really big for Atlus so they are the one that will bring this out for the x box 360 and PS3. (just like Catherine)
Why would Aksys get to peek at the game? it not there game Arc system is not part of Aksys. Arc System Works also worked with Konami on Hard Corps: Uprising. Aksys didn't published Guilty Gear X for the Dreamcast or PlayStation 2. neither company owns the other. Aksys Games publishes many games for Arc System Works in North America.
I know it will probably end up being an Atlus localization, but I'd much rather if Aksys handled it, seeing as Atlus doesn't give a flying fbomb about dual language audio.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Aksys might not even know any other detail that we don't already know by then.

Chie! Yukiko! Mitsuru! yes!

And they rightfully don't XD The people who REALLY want dual audio are a loud minority, and even then they will usually end up getting the game anyways even without dual-audio, so there really is little reason to do so. It's probably cheaper and faster to only have English voices, and probably less of a chance of the English VAs being left out of the credits (which is something that kind of irks me. Good or bad, they did work too.)
Now, if they DID include it, I say more power to them, but I really don't care either way, just saying from Atlus's standpoint, it makes perfect sense not to.
Oh, and I sincerely hope you don't get your hopes up about Atlus letting some other company handle the localization. NO company is dumb enough to give a sure fire gold mine up XD
Dual Audio is really not that big a deal, I mean sure I guess it's a nice feature to have? but it doesn't really determine a purchase from me. I like hearing characters talk in a languege I can understand and have no interest in spending years learning Hapanese just so I can play Video Games.
ATLUS is going to license and bring over this game, there is no way Aksys could get the license unless ATLUS just randomly decides to not bring it over. Persona is an ATLUS developed title though so why they wouldn't bring over there own game I dunno
Considering how much I hated Yukiko and Chie's voices in Persona 4, I'd like the fighting game to have dual audio. But it probably won't, because Persona 4 didn't have dual audio.
Oh well. Yukiko and Chie's voices got a little better as the game went on. =w=;;
Personally, I'd rather see a fully-dubbed game than one with dual audio. I hate NISA for how they overemphasize dual audio.
Here have a gameplay trailer

Yu Narukami? Also, I'm disappointed to learn that Aigis is the only P3 character that seems to be in.
Aside from that, looks great.
That only showed the characters we already knew existed, the character select screen had 3 more slots that were "covered". Still we probably still don't have a full cast list yet, it could be more then 10 characters and this is just for the Arcades, Console Ports always have new characters.
And yes it seems P4 MC finally has a canon name now, and it's the same one from the anime. Not surprising, but it's kind of a pity since I like Souji Seta better.
I'm kind of disappointed there's not going to be a Steam version though. Is Capcom the only company that cares about PC gamers? In my eyes, that makes Capcom the best Japanese gaming company there is, even despite everything else they've done. Except, perhaps, Square Enix, but they still haven't released FFXIII PC, so I'm holding that against them.
Being disappointed and PC gaming should be going hand and hand at this point. There are a great deal of games that hit consoles that are good but won't be seeing PC releases. For the longest time Capcom didn't even look as if they were going to release Super SSF4 on PC. There are also no legit games published by Aksys on PC either. NISA doesn't do PC releases. Square-Enix doesn't seem tto really care. A good majority of theirs don't hit PC. I'm an relieved though that Dues Ex is still a PC title.
Even other series like Halo stopped seeing PC release, Gears 3 may be a while, and all games mainly published by Sony never see PC release. The only companies who seem to really care are those that used to mainly do PC development. Capcom may try but its not a real effort. The only real reason may just be that MT Framework can work multiplatform. When I see something like Dragon's Dogma and Asura's Wrath land on PC since they plan to make those established franchises then ill retract that.
I do admit however that PC also hold quite a few exclusive games and games that were developed for the PC also tend to run better than those on consoles. Its just that... Consoles are easier to develop for in general. Its a hardware that stays consistent and doesn't require testing of multiple configurations just to make sure if it works right with what's on the market. I just call it developer's being lazy.
On the topic of this Persona fighter, it will probably be ok. Won't be supported like current running fighters I'm sure but its good they went with a dev that knows how to do 2d fighters. If they do end up making this title actually stand for more than a year I'd be surprised. I don't think Atlus actually has any announced games for PS3/360 so far but we may be surprised at TGS. Hopefully there's something other than this.
Yeah, I'd love to see Persona 5 on the Vita and SMT4 on the PS360, and, if Atlus decides to be awesome, the PC as well.
