   Well there were comments and such that popped up during the novels translation, but now that the anime is airing and it's being done by ufotable (they should do every adaptation!) it's becoming a lot more popular to hate on Nasu and FSN while practically proclaiming how much better Zero is and how amazing Urobuchi is. Really it's just annoying to me since like I said, Zero IS really damn good but it's BECAUSE of Nasu and such that it even exists.

   I mean Zero and Fate are obviously stories set in the same universe, but they really aren't meant to be compared like I see people doing. They really are two completely different events, and yet people seem to miss this and then say how much better FSN would have been if Urobuchi had been the writer and how he somehow does the world better then it's actual writer or other nonesense.

   I'm just kinda rambling I suppose, but what can I say? these sorts of comments have just seemed to pop up a lot lately and they make me sad since it seems the original work is getting no respect at all while everyone just praises the newest and flashiest thing tossed at them (no offense meant to Zero)

   Yeah, I agree. The main reason I like Zero is because it explains the backstory of Fate. I can't imagine one without the other. This is the first I've heard of people complaining like this, but I guess that's because I haven't been paying attention.

   Latest ep was great, Iri should invest in racing. Also sad to see more people bashing Nasu and praising Urobuchi and demanding he take control over the NASUverse.

   This is more of a TM in general comment then one specifically related to F/Z, but does anyone else simply NOT give a damn about the Genderswapping of some characters? I mean I see people always complaining about Saber's true Identity being a girl...but I honestly never cared? I mean it's a Fictional Story and a completely different universe! who cares if so and so was actually a girl and not a guy? I mean it's just boring if everything is played completely true to history.

   'True' history. There's rather large debate on what is 'true' and what isn't since Arthur's story are mainly composed of folklore. It's a stretch to say 'his' gender was female, but I see no problem on the gender change. It added another layer to Arturia's story IMO; the whole never being able to live as a girl.

   I don't think it was that much of a stretch, I mean after all only a few people would know the King's true gender and those few would obviously keep their mouths shut.

   Hah I came across this little parody post of the more recent Nasu hate and had a good laugh at how accurate it describes this latest trend.
   
   he's a complete hack whose name should only be brought up dismissively alongside a "lol" prefix

   moreover, even if one likes F/SN and is discussing its well done aspects, one should never attribute an ounce of credit to Nasu and should instead pretend those sections just wrote themselves

   you must only and only bring up his name when talking about the poorly done sections of F/SN; that's when you mention Nasu, preferably with the absolutely hilarious aforementioned "lolNasu" variation

   last but not least, one must always make sure to make abundantly clear how infinitely inferior he is to Urobuchi Gen in every way and constantly remark how all of even Nasu's bare concepts are a load of **** and were only made good due to the infallible Butcher's Midas touch

   So that German book in todays episode? it turns out it was a Rapist Book. I'm not kidding, someone translated the German and it turns out that Book wanted to rape Loli-Rin.

    Haha,thats terrible. Todays episode was definitely a filler. Should get interesting though with only a couple of episodes left before they go on a break.

    This episode has a much sadder ending in the novels, it also wasn't as long. They stretched the episode out to give a better development or focus on Rin, and made the ending happier, in the novels they didn't save the girl. Some people complained about this, but Urobuchi himself is the one who wrote the changes so it seems he wanted the ending to be happier.

    God I hate the internet at times, before Episode 10 F/Z was amazing, Episode 10? the series is catering to pedophiles (ignoring that Urobuchi himself wrote the changes, and the original version in the novel wouldn't work in an anime) and the series is shooting itself in the foot. As if ONE "Filler" episode will suddenly completely throw off the pacing of the entire thing and give us DEEN 2.0.

    I watched the entire first season on the week I meant to finish Fate/Extra for the second time, and it was really nice to see familiar faces and get to know the history behind a few characters and how all of them are connected to one another.

    Really good anime series at first it starts out rather slow and can be overwhelming but it picks up pretty quickly after that. There is good interaction between the characters and funny moments too - as well as a few sad ones. I feared that because of all the heavy dialogue Fate/zero would not deliver with good action sequences but thankfully it does this is my first time viewing Fate as an anime instead of a video-game and I'm glad i invested the time and saw it, it's on Hulu by the way so enjoy.

    You should be glad this is your first viewing of Fate as an anime! the adaptation of the Fate route that DEEN did was terrible. Not "There is no Tsukihime Anime" levels of terrible, but still pretty bad.

    Also the series is finally back! and how do they kick off the return? why with one of Berserkers most awesome moments in the entire series! also Fate/Hollow Atarxia has a hilarious call back to recent Zero events. There's a scene where Shirou is making some Octopus Weiners (I think he was making them anyway, I know there involved somehow) and Saber is all freaked out or something and wants none of it, and Shirou wonders if there's some mythos relating to King Arthur and squids that he doesn't remember. OF COURSE Saber hates anything Squid related after this Eldrich Abomination!
