So I received my Gamestop pre-order for the limited edition yesterday. However, I was wondering where I should be looking for the bonus magazine. I would have expected it to be in the shipping box attached to the game package, but that was not the case. Is it inside the actual game packaging instead? I don't want to open it just yet as there is a good chance I will return it if the pre-order bonus is not inside.

I placed my order with GameStop back on October 2nd, an entire month before the game was released. My order form lists both the LE version of the game and the pre-order bonus as separate items in the order. However, the packing slip in the shipping box I received only lists the game. I have a feeling that GameStop screwed up and I am out the pre-order bonus. The bonus was the only reason that I ordered the game from GameStop instead of Amazon which would have been about $15 cheaper due to free shipping and a lower price.

Is there any chance someone from Aksys would be willing to mail me the bonus item? I have had mixed luck getting missing bonus items from GameStop in the past and have never attempted it for an item that was online only.

I would be more than happy to provide pictures or scans of order and packing information if needed.

I saw a thread on GameFAQs with people who are in a similar situation. Some noted that the bonus did eventually ship as a separate item some time later. Perhaps I jumped the gun, so I will wait a bit and see if it ships separately.

My fate booklet took a day longer to ship out. And I was using 2 day shipping.

Dangerous at both ends and crafty in the middle.

From what we've seen, it does appear that the the books are getting shipped out a little later. If you still haven't received it in a few days, e-mail support (at) aksysgames (dot) com and we should be able to resolve your problem.

Oddly enough, my bonus of Fate/the fact was sent out immediately with first-class shipping. However, I did note that it came from a different place than the game. Whole different state, actually. So it's not unreasonable that some are getting them later.

I too recently got my game without the booklet. I just sent an email to gamestop to find out what's up. Guess I should have checked here first. Anyway it's good to know aksys has got our back if something goes wrong.

I haven't received mine either. I'm getting worried. I've emailed GameStop twice already without a reply.

Just adding that this is not just a Gamestop thing - I got Fate/Extra from NewEgg and there wasn't a booklet or any mention that there should be one. I think it's multiple retailers.

Actually, I believe only GameStop (and the aksys store, briefly) was offering the bonus. That's the reason I ordered from them... I would have ordered from Amazon otherwise.

I got my copy... and no extra booklet... and same as everyone it was the only reason I pre-ordered from gamestop. It's been a couple of days now so it should have arrived already if it was coming in separate...

Thanks, Belisarius. I just shot you guys an email -- and I've gotta say, this is the best service I've ever had from a game company. You're fantastic, and expect the love letters and chocolates in the mail. ;)

I didn't get my booklet either, and it's been a week. My order is still shown as "Open".

I agree gamestop hasn't been that great with sending the booklets out. I'm hoping Aksys will take over that role and send it to us as they are certainly helpful on the forums.

Following up on my opening post.

Still haven't received the bonus item; though the order is still sitting at 'Open' on gamestop.com.

Sent an email to the support address posted in this thread; hopefully Aksys can take care of it.
