I can confirm this as well. Both Amazon and GameStop have changed the release date to June 12th.

Neko, I must apologize for calling you out (as I cannot find your post talking about it) but I do believe you are mistaken about Phantom Breaker and Amazon, while we are on the subject. The delays are 100% by the North American publisher, 7Sixty, which is a subidary of SouthPeak Interactive. Amazon is not at fault for the pre-order delays, 7Sixty is the one who sets a release date, and continues to push it back by month after month. As I have stated, GameStop has also pushed the date back to June 12th. Amazon and GameStop only put in the release dates that they receive from the publisher.

Please do not get me wrong, I have my own issues with Amazon as well, but in this particular case, they are completely innocent. Also, yes, how 7Sixty is handling this is annoying and ridiculous. One missed ship date, understandable. Two missed ship dates, questionable. Three plus missed shipped dates, ridiculous.

Back on topic, I picked up Duke Nukem: Forever (360) from Best Buy for $3 new.

Yes.

^There are some games that you couldn't even pay me to play.
I try not to be judgmental in that way, especially when I end up pleasantly surprised by taking a chance, but some things just kind of let it all hang out...

No worries. I am aware that the publisher are the ones that set the release dates, its just how Amazon handled it is what annoys me. They insulted me further by sending me a new email stating the release date. To explain briefly, when the first release date was Feb 28, I wasn't mad. After numerous push backs, I cancelled my pre-order from them. About two hours afterwards, they sent me an email regarding the release date of PB. It read that release date of PB on Feb 28 was changed to May 8th. So, from that email, it seems apparent that they knew of the release date of PB on May 8th since Feb 28, yet they decided to play with my head and keep changing the release date. I would have been ok if they simply had said Spring of 2012, but I suppose that's not possible nyaa.

I had a feeling the release date would change again, so I can't say I'm surprised. I just wish they'd release a demo to appease the consumers waiting for this game.

Yeah, the entire situation is hogwash. The only thing that is even more insane is how exactly all of the bugs cropping up right before each release date? Are they destroying the game coding as they go along translating it? Maybe their Quality Assurance team is just horrendous? Typos galore?

Regardless, I suppose that we will have to wait and see the quality when the game releases. I honestly hope the wait is worth it, as I hope I do not say, 'I waited 5 months for this?!'

Also, I am sorry that I had misunderstood what your reasoning was about Amazon. I understand now.

On a separate note:

I own Magna Carta 1 for the PS2. I can not comment on how well it plays as I have yet to play it, but the artwork is by Hyung-Tae Kim, which was primarily the reason that I had purchased it. It is kind of similar to why I bought Spy Fiction; the artwork was done by Range Murata. I may have to give Spy Fiction a try sometime, considering SWERY is the director and all.

Also, it says the SWERY worked on The Last Blade for the Neo-Geo, didn't Daisuke Ishiwatari also work on the same game back then? Well I checked, and yes they both certainly did. What a strange world.

The game is mediocre that's for sure, but I need that in my collection
I pre-ordered the game way back in February also... I keep getting delays notice xD

Imagine if they cancel the game :/

Didn't know there was another Murata fan among us! It's a funny coiencidence that my goody box from Japan arrived with his latest(?) doujin:

Spy Fiction is a pretty fun game. It's nice to see Murata's design in game form. The other game he help design was that 2D fighter by Atlus from a ways back.

Well, I just received an update from 7sixty about the delays on Phantom Breaker on their Facebook, not really much, but I guess you guys will understand.

(7sixty) just sent an email to check on the game's status as far as getting it out to retailers goes. We'll have an update for everyone in the next few days.

Since the Gaming Stuff Thread is geared towards...games. I figured I can post my last picture on here since I did purchase them. XD That and I want to know if anyone else played these card games I purchased recently:

Tanto Cuore!! XD Yes these are the english version of the...uhh...popular(?) deck building game from Japan. :P The company that brought this over is based in my State and has been promoting these often too at some of the latest conventions such as Emerald City Comic Con and Sakuracon. So I figured I try them out and...its pretty fun! ^__^

Other purchases I bought was the updated PS3 Media Remote. This one actually controls your TV as well as your PS3 unlike the first generation remote!

Finally an 128GB SSD that has...no current home. T__T Haha that will change next week though! (Its related too the custom gaming laptop I ordered not too long ago. Unfortunately...it wasn't fast enough so I had it send back. The newer one I am getting will be faster though and will arrive next week before Diablo III comes out! Anyone going to be playing that too?)

The game is similar to another game Dominion (Never played but that's what I was told) instead of games like Magic or Pokemon where you have to buy/trade and collect cards. So everything is included to play with up to 4 players. (The second box on the left is the expansion pack that adds more Maids and allows up to 8 players to play together)

Plus the entire game is based on anime style maids! XD

i might have stayed interested in card games if I had someone to play with nyaa...

I suppose playing Magic on the PS3 is ok, but I wish I could have more freedom and make my own deck, not customize a pre-made deck.

And if I'm not in the mood for Magic, then playing the FF8 card game on my phone passes the time away.

Finally got my Gaming Notebook and a game to break it in!

I actually got the Gaming Notebook earlier though then the game. So during that time, I took it apart and added the Crucial M4 SSD and optimized the notebook:

Its equipped with a lot of stuff already inside stock. But I can add more stuff too it. ^_~

I removed both cages as well as the SATA-III 750GB 7200RPM HDD that came with the notebook so that I can swap it over to Bay 2 and put the SSD on Bay 1 since I want that one to be the OS Drive.

Both drives are secured back into the Gaming Notebook!

Nice and fast!

I love my local Gamestop. They managed to get me a copy of a LE that I never thought I'd be able to get my hands on (at a great price too.) Actually had the LE shipped from a store more than a 100 miles away (in state.) It took them awhile to get it (since the Asst. Store manager at the other store lied about sending it twice for 2 weeks and apparently is lazy, which was pointed out by the Store manager there) but I'm happy to have gotten it. I'll post a pic once the other item I'm waiting for arrives.
