I wanted the 3DS version of Tekken, but they didn't have any, and this was pretty cheap...so I got it instead!

Thanks, now I'm curious for why you bought the anime 4 times :/
It's not something I'm particularly proud of.
The first time I bought it to watch it. I bought each of the volumes as they came out, and I had an internet friend who wanted to watch is as much as I did. They were as big a fan of yuri as I was so I went ahead and bought a second copy of each volume and mailed it to them as each volume came out.
A few years later I lent my copies to a friend of a friend. Although before I could get my copies back my friend of a friend stop being friends with my actual friend. So my connection to them is gone. So I bought ANOTHER set just to replace my copies. I'm a big yuri nut so I couldn't NOT own them. Even though I didn't plan on watching it again I got another set of each volume.
Then sentai filmworks released a complete collection, and I felt like getting it because it was the series in one DVD case rather than 3. Plus it was on sale.
The reason I own two volumes of the manga is because I thought I lost my copy. I eventually thought I never owned them, and I had only borrowed them before. So I bought another copy just to be sure. Only to find my old copies a few months later.
Sigh. I'm not proud of myself -_-.....
Well, I buy multiple copies of the same game, if that conforts you

I may have bought the anime 4 times now and the manga 2 times now, but I won't hesitate to call the anime/manga terrible (don't ask my reasons for getting it that many times. I'd rather not explain). Hopefully you didn't pay much for it.
I've already seen it. -_-
Watched it streaming on TAN all last week. Really enjoyed it. Sure, I can see why people call it terrible but then again, I tend to enjoy stuff others find terrible. (HELLO, MARS OF DESTRUCTION!)
Well, I liked it. MOSTLY. Later half of Episode 8 was just "WHY?!" and watching it in English was all the more disturbing. Michelle Ruff was creepy as Chikane. That's all I need to say.
And it was spare change I had sitting around. Really wanted to own a least one full anime and manga series on DVD, other than Transformers Energon, Gundam SEED adaption and .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet.
Quick question. About a bonus extra on the original anime release. There was a limited edition of volume 3 when it first came out that came with a 30 minute bonus "episode." It was more or less a drama CD thing with the dub. The goddess was narrating most of the scenes.
Is that on the complete collection release?

I don't believe so, no.
At least, it's not with mine. Could've been a first run bonus or something, I dunno or it could be original release-exclusive.
Only heard about the series two weeks ago, streamed it last and bought both the manga and anime this week.
Recently, I've gotten:
-Street Fighter x Tekken SE-
I've would have kept the box in the photo, but all that was in the box was the game and the arcade piggy bank broken up, so I included the arcade piggy bank in the photo. Being a small arcade machine look-alike...I put only quarters inside.
-Tales of Graces f-
Another Tales game to add to my library. Finished the game and now looking to do the extra side quests.
-Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning-
Ever since getting this...I have yet to play it...why? I don't know...
-Yakuza: Dead Souls-
Never thought I'd get this, considering I haven't been playing any zombie game since RE 2, but since I started to enjoy the Yakuza games, I thought I'd give this a chance. I'm enjoying this, though I'll likely get distracted by other games...as I am now...

Oh, that little bank is pretty cool. Also, good job on getting Dead Souls! Yakuza needs all the support it can get!
Even more junk!
I think this covers everything I've bought so far for this year. Might be missing a few things. Also, yes I bought two copies of Tales of Graces F. Felt compelled to do so.
What is the game in between Gal Gun and Mk2?
Ahhh, ok. I remember reading about that one.
No games today I'm afraid. But I still like showing off!

I'm curious how that plays myself.
The actual gameplay is a SRPG. You have a certain amount of points to use each turn and the points go towards both attacking and moving. So you have to strategize how much moving and how much attacking you do each turn.
The story parts are visual novel stuff. There was a whole bunch of war talk in it so I kinda shut my brain off during that. There were actual commanders and generals talking about war and stuff. I got bored with that they had to say real quick.
I didn't play much of it, but the basic flow is story parts, and then a battle. And a mini-game thrown in somewhere. The first battle had a mini-game where you shot down planes before the real battle started. If you completed it successfully you auto-kill one of the enemy planes before the fight starts.
I will start with games first, I have not purchased much (physical items) recently, I do spend a bit too much on digital sales though (such as the SNK sale on XBLA this week).

It has been awhile since I had bought any anime, and with TokyoPop and Anime Works going out of business, I decided to go a little crazy on the clearance items before the massive price gouging (Battle Royale: Ultimate Editions V. 4 and 5, I am looking at you!).

So now I have the complete collections of:
The 'Graduation' game for Windows 95 I had bought as a novelty, it was only $2 and they had 150 left in stock so I suppose I can say that I felt bad for it, ha ha. I am surprised the box is so big.
Also, I must apologize for the semi-small photos, the image guide on the forums said 400-500px, but it looks like 600px fits perfectly, so I will size down my images to 600px in the future.

- Battle Royale manga [I have the novel as well, just missing the movies] (although since the Ultimate Editions now are gouged up to $200, I went with the individual books).
- Genshiken 1, 2, and Kujibiki Unbalance anime [missing the mangas and novel]
- Green Green anime (unless you count the OVA, but I do not believe it was ever released in the U.S.)
- Strawberry Panic! anime
- Samurai Gun anime
- Sword of the Dark Ones [finally completed after 3 years]

Yes! Genshiken high five! Still wish they'd finished the anime. Need to grab the manga, and was that novel released here?
I was actually looking into Graduation a while back. It has an awesome theme song: http://youtu.be/h2jGLbvIbXs
I also need to catch up on Genshiken2. I only watched the first season.

There was a novel? I know there's a spin-off series that recently started. Sadly, it doesn't involve Suzy ;A;

It was, actually. The same publisher of the manga, DEL REY, also published the novel 'Genshiken: Return of the Otaku.'
Also, concerning the manga, the first Genshiken Omnibus (Volumes 1-3) will be released on May 22, followed by the second Omnibus (Volumes 4-6) on September 18. I would assume the third and final Omnibus would follow after that (Volumes 7-9) at some later date, but those are the only two solid dates that I have found thus far.
I have just found out something quite interesting; There is a 'season 2' of the manga currently ongoing. The first one to release stateside is titled 'Genshiken: Second Season,' which will be released on September 22. I am quite excited about that as I read all 9 volumes that I had borrowed from a friend. I wonder how the second series works since the first series felt... 'concluded.'
Ah, Genshiken Nidaime? Yeah, I heard its not all that hot. Basically Ogiue is the presiden, and there's like 3 other new members. 2 of them are fujoshi like Ogiue, and another is a guy who likes the same stuff, but since he likes that stuff, he dresses up like a chick or something...Apparently there's some cameos from the old characters once in a while, but eh.
Needless to say, after that post, I've now got the novel, that other book, and the Kujibiki/Genshiken ova collection ordered and on its way! (even though I was never really a big fan of the actual Kujibiki series itself, its worth it for the ova stuff)
