Hmm... read 4 out of 5 reviews and I must say... seems like another successful sale nyaa...

It would seem that their is still hope for visual novels in the US.

Well it seems like everything is going well. Lets hope the good reviews continue and sales do well. With luck we may get more visual novels and otome games. Or at the very least more Hakuouki games. Bakumatsu Musoroku and Reimeiroku sound very interesting.

Lijakaca's Otome Gaming Blog talked about the game in their podcast:

yea, visual novels have been quite successful in NA, there are quite a few on the DS that were released in English, this is the first Otome Visual Novel and its getting good reviews as well so there will definatly be more Hakuoki games released in English

however if the rest of the PSP Hakuouki games are released in English, they probaly will be Digital Download only due to the lack of a UMD drive on the PS Vita
the Hakuouki games on the DS and 3DS still have a good chance over here since the DS and 3DS game cards are of similar shape

That's an extremely poor 'review'.

For one thing, reviews are not supposed to summarize the entire plot.

This is likely a review of the version released in Japan, not the Aksys localized version (she uses Japanese terms and the date on the review is from two years ago). Thank you, though!
