The game itself works but the disc doesn't work on my PS3 and no error messeage either. I tried resetting my system, and rebooting the system and try it on a different PS3 system it still doesn't work. I tried playing like 5 other blu ray movies, all works and all my other games works too. I was reading on forums like gamefaqs etc, it seems like quite a few people also have this problem. Does Aksysgames know about this issue?

I had the same issue, you will have to send the disk in. I emailed support and they told me to ship it in. I'd make sure to email them 1st so that way they know its coming.

Try the following:
Step 1: Make sure the blu-ray is not in the drive when you switch it on/off.
Step 2: Turn your PS3 on/off with the switch in the back. This will "reboot" your PS3 and the blu-ray should be recognized
Step 3: Re-insert the blu-ray.
Step 4: Look for the blu-ray in the "Video" bar and not the "Game" bar.If you are still having trouble with the disc, email us at support@aksysgames.com and we'll help you out with a replacement.

Hi, admin, I sent an email already yesterday to support@aksysgames.com, just wonder if you can check and see the support team has recieved it. Because I haven't get a reply. I dont want to post my email in public so if possible you can check my account info. Im pretty sure I need the disc replace because its not working on multiple system and others movies and games that I own runs perfectly.

I had the same issue. Read all the forums, tried the no brainer "reboot the PS3" trick, and still the blu-ray disc wasn't working. Right away I emailed support and even mentioned to the issue to the Aksys staff at AX (AnimeExpo) whom also mentioned emailing support. I also contacted Gamestop.com whom informed me that they didn't have anymore in stock to make an exchange. I waited a week without a reply from Aksys support and finally just gave up. I called my local GameStops and eventually found a nice enough clerk that swapped out the blu-ray for me. The replacement disc works without an issue. Best of luck on this guys, this whole experience has really put a damper on a game I anxiously awaited ever since its announcement and the test drive at last years AX demo.

There seems to be some kind of gunk on the bottom of the disc, I tried cleaning it off with a wet cloth but I can't seem to get a bit of it off. Still not working.

i am getting the same problem as everyone else, i tried what the admin suggested we do, and it still doesnt work. i sent an email to Aksys support team. i was wondering how long it will take them to respond to my email?

lol it took me 2 days to receive my first email, I emailed again and ask them if they are going to check the disc before they send it out last Friday and I am still waiting for a replay before I send my disc. Maybe the admin can help me asking them, might be much quicker.

I am having this problem as well. I inserted the tutorial disc into my PS3, the reading indicator at the top right shows that it is reading something, but after it disappears, there is nothing I can view under the Video menu.

If kanedags's method does not work for you, try letting it load in your PS3 for about 2 minutes or so. One of our other fans got it to work that way, and let us know.
I judge you when you use poor grammar.Posted 2 years ago # -
Also, just to make sure it's clear:
If you cannot get the disk to work and need a replacement, please e-mail us at support (at) aksysgames (dot) com, don't just post in this thread.
