Seriously, someone should license this, and Aksys would be pretty much perfect. With how popular PMMM has gotten I'm sure it'd sell well.
Just a thought!

Anime licenses are a b**** to get. Doesn't mean I don't want it. Madoka was the s***.
Off-topic: Love your username. <3 Kuuderes.
Puella Magica was a beautiful series! I've heard that the anime has already been released here, with an English dub nonetheless, but I have heard of a game for Puella Magica, I don't know what system its for, but it's called Grief Syndrome or something like that, and it looks pretty fun! It would be cool to have it brought over here~ (I could be mistaken though, forgive me if i'm wrong^^; )
Grief Syndrome is a pc game. I'm pretty sure it's fan made, but not sure =/ The sprites in it are freaking awesome though! http://wiki.puella-magi.net/Grief_Syndrome
Grief Syndrome is indeed fan made, and yeah anime licensed titles are a pain in the ass to deal with.
I came across another fan made Madoka game. http://seventhstyle.com/2011/12/27/homura-combat-3d-action-shooter/
If you guys must know; PMMM (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is being released on the PSP (Yes, the PSP) on March 15, 2012. It is the only official game based on the PMMM series.
I also would love to see this come over here! The PMMM anime is great. If anyone should bring the game here, it should be Aksys; they already have experience with games with visual novel elements, as well as games based off licensed franchises (like Fate/Extra). I understand it may be hard to get because of the cost of the license, but I still would love to see Aksys bring it here, whether it be a physical release or download only.

Seconded, this is probably one of the only games that I'd accept a DD only (if that's what we had to deal with). It'd also be probably the cheapest method for Aksys to localize the game. If any Aksys employees are reading this I'd like to know your take on the game (and anime) whether it be personal interest or just outside criticism
Sidenote: Please watch past episode 3 or more than 5 minutes of gameplay if you are going to comment on the anime/game

There's a free mobile game, too, but it has no real substance and was pretty much released as promo material for the PSP game.

ha, no way in hell aksys can bring over PMMM.
don't get me wrong, I would love if they would but the blu-ray sells for 55$ and that's just 4 episodes, not even the full series. no way aksys is going to pay the out of this world insane license fees for Madoka. ...just not going to happen.
^ haha. taking everything into perspective, ofcourse, it wouldn't be worth it. I'm talking about things that are probably forbidden on forums, but, it's a psp game. piracy is no stranger to psp games. There are English patches out there for almost any popular non-localized game.

Anime license =/= Game license FYI.
If that were the case, we wouldn't get half the -your mother is a classy lady- anime niche publishers release. Blu-Ray and DVD prices have nothing to do with video game licenses. And $55 for 4 episodes? I have to question where you're shopping then because Rightstuf has it for 40 which is actually quite a steal.

4 episodes per DVD/Blu-ray (39-59$)is an old practice, FUNimation and Sentai learned that
So no, 40 $ ish, is not a steal
I bought mine from rightstuf but have a look around the net, pretty much every where else it's 55$
If you think 40$ is a steal, you are an idiot.
I'm looking at Righstuf right now and it's telling me $80 for ep1-4. Now this may be because I'm looking at the Limited Edition, but that's no where near 40 or 55 =_=
In any case, the anime price has some effect on the initial license price, if the anime did good the price is higher. So from how PMMM did we can assume the price is pretty damn high. However, that doesn't mean that we can instantly shoot down all possibilities of this game getting localized but it does lower the chances by a lot. Who knows though, if this game does magnificently in Japan and the sales of the anime here (which are probably low because of Aniplex and there Sh*tty marketing) are good, then Aksys may re-think there stand on localizing it.

Yes to the piracy and no to the english patches. There are almost NO english patches for any originally japan PSP games, no matter how popular. If anything it will get a "Partial-Patch" but that's limited to games that cannot be easily played without translated HUD or Menus, other than that the only "Possible" english patches that are in the making are IdolM@ster SP and OreImo: Portable and those are in the lower percentages (IMSP: 30% complete) (OreImo: 6% complete). However, to the true fans (and japanese speakers) this isn't much of a problem. I myself can play my japanese games without need of an english patch (however I am not fluent so there are parts I cannot understand)
Please Aksys localize this:)
aksys needs to localize this and fate extra ccc.
