What do you think will happen in Blazblue 3?

As the title suggests, what do you think will happen in Blazblue 3?

I see Jubei, Kokonoe, and possibly the Imperator being playable characters. My support to these would be Jubei being hinted during the Teach Me segments, Kokonoe during her own Help Me segments, and the Imperator simply having her own theme in the BBCSE sound test. I also see a return of V-13 (or another Murakumo Unit) to replace 11. It would be amusing how 11 first replaces 13 and then 13 replacing 11.

Well we know Nu will be coming back since her body is reforming itself in the Cauldron, but if it will still be the "Same" Nu/Lambda or a different one who knows? I'm not sure I see the Imperator fighting, I can't really imagine how she would play at all since the only time we see her is the very end of CS.

Kokonoe and Jubei are obvious, I mean all the jokes about them have to come true eventually. Assuming the game does get split into two for story reasons though, I can't expect good things to happen to poor Good Guy. Ragna's life has been hell and everytime it seems things maybe looking up for him, it only gets worse. I guess at least right now he's got some friends in Noel (potential love interest/sister figure? Tao who's obviously his BFF) and his relationship with Jin maybe better now that he's in a calmer state of mind. Honestly? I'm expecting the poor guy to die by the end of the series.

(I am basing this post with the idea that BlazBlue 3 may be possibly the last in the story arc. Spoilers may occur.)

I will present all of my educated guesses following my reasoning behind them;
1. Kokonoe will be playable. This is highly possible due to one of the 'Help Me! Professor Kokonoe!' segments why she is wondering why she is not playable yet. There is also unused dialog where Tager says something along the lines of 'I'm sorry Kokonoe, but I must do this my own way!'
2. Jubei will be playable. This was reference in 'Teach Me, Miss Litchi!' <Reloaded> during Ragna's explanation of the Nox Nyctores. Jubei says something along the lines of 'I reckon y'all see what Musashi is capable of soon enough.' Especially since 'Phantom' has appeared, he now has a personal reason to fight. Plus, due to high fan demand, this seems like a no brainer.
3. 'Phantom' may be playable. I think it possible since then all Six Heroes will be playable in one game, which will be a definite selling point for any fans. Looking at the concept artwork for Phantom, it does show that she has arms inside the cloak, as well as a 'human' pose.
4. v-13 will return, due to the 'True End' where Hazama and Relius talk about how the prime field device reconstructing itself. Personality wise, I think she will either be pure 'Ragna-Love!' type or half and half like before, although I belive the former is likely. It is possible that she will actually be 'good' this time around, seeing as she saved Ragna from Terumi from a deathblow and sacrificing herself. Or not, heh. I'm pretty sure Lambda-11 will be the 'unlimited' version of v-13, or v-13 will at least have an alternate Lambda-11 color palette.
5. Tenjou's son may be playable. Considering everyone is heading to Ikaruga, and that he is pretty much Bang's raison d'être in a sense, I think it possible.
6. When the Six Heroes fight against one another, a special VS. theme may be used. Perhaps something along the lines of 'Former Camaraderie'?
7. The Imperator, she may be the True Boss this time around. They may decide to make her separate like 'Boss I-NO' from Guilty Gear, with a playable version and a boss version. I think that, given how 'Saya' was a central focus to Ragna's storyline and how all of the Artificial Causality Weapons (L-11,u-12,v-13) were made to look like Saya. I feel like she will play similar to Lambda's neutral D blade summons except with orbs, although this is pure speculation. I do not think she will really use hand-to-hand combat, and instead use a type of 'sphere pull' that arcs at certain lengths as a range fighter, or comparative to Hakumen's 6C range attacks. Who really knows for her? Ha ha.
8. I'm pretty sure this one will include the regular updates as well: New story mode, Teach Me Miss Litchi modes, Help Me! Professor Kokonoe segments, new character select art, new / updated GUI, new / updated HUD.
For what I personally hope for, I hope that they add a 'continue' option to Score Attack / Unlimited Mars with x or all amount of points lost as a penalty. Continuum Shift's score attack mode was particularly insane with the difficulty spikes with Hakumen.

Well I don't know if the trick still works in CS/EXTEND but in CT if you played Score Attack in "2P Mode" then the person with the 2P Controller could press Select or Start which would reset the match to the beginning, very useful for Unlimited Ragna (never did beat him, gave up out of frustration).

As for Saya? I don't see her being the Final Boss, that's pretty much Hazama's roll and for him to NOT be the Final Boss would be a disgrace. She maybe A Boss, but definitely not the Final One. I'm hoping it's revealed exactly what happened to her since last time Ragna saw her she was abducted by Terumi and the current Saya seems like she maybe a "Puppet" of someone behind the scenes. I kinda want to see "Blodedge" as a playable character. There doesn't have to be a story reason for him to appear, just existing as a bit of fanservice (or if there needs to be a story reason, it could be a playable flashback to the events of the Dark War).

I see Saya fused with a Murakumo Unit. All the final bosses thus far has shared that. I also see a confrontation between Phantom, Kokonoe, and Jubei as well.

I don't even think this has to be said, but just in case there are going to be all kinds of SPOILERS below.

Well for starters I think all the couples will end up together. Who Ragna ends up with is the real question that pesters me. Will it be Noel or Rachel? I think Noel because Rachel just doesn't seem like the person who would get with Ragna. Rachel may love him or be very "interested" in him as she always says but still I put my money on Noel.

The next couple would probably be Jin and Tsubaki. I think Jin's entire story will revolve around him trying to save Tsubaki from Saya's control. The only reason I think that Tsubaki will even live to be with him is because we have already seen a story where she dies. Hakuman's story. If they do end up together, I think she will be blind.

Litchi and Bang SHISHIGAMI is the next couple I would absolutely love to see together. Again there is only one way these two could end up together and that is if Bang uses his Nox Nyctores: Phoenix Rettenj?. His Nox Nyctores has the power to "Sever ties to the boundary". Now what is really TIED to the boundary that we have all come to know and hate. Arakune of course. Hazama/Terumi has said that the NOL has a way to save Arakune but I think at the end of the day Bang is going to do whatever it takes to win Litchi's heart, so he will save Arakune. The only problem is that Litchi may love the human form of Arakune, "Lotte Carmine".

Now this idea has no basis or thought, it is just an idea, keep that in mind. Makoto has a strange obsession for Carl? Could anything come of that?

Okay now that i'm finally done with couples, some of the serious things I can see for BlazBlue 3 are so: 1. Nu Reloaded, 2. Hazama dies and Terumi lives, 3. Relius finally shows some affection for his little boy, 4. Tenjou's son is some sort of M. Night Shyamalan twist, 5. Five new playable characters, 6. The six heroes have a deadly reunion, and 7. Saya gets her own story mode.

1. In the true ending of Continuum Shift it is shown that Nu has rebuilt herself, so she will make her return being more OP than ever. Hopefully she still keeps the creepy "fuse with Ragna" bit going. Nu will probably be used by Relius to mess with Noel and Ragna. Maybe she'll be given a sick new upgrade thanks to Relius.

2. Hazama/Terumi is my second favorite character in the BlazBlue franchise. I believe that Terumi's body "Hazama" will die and his true form as Terumi will take up a great portion of the story. Maybe even Hazama's ultimate form will let you play as the ghost form of Terumi. This would delight me quite a bit because I think Terumi's ghost form is just downright creepy. It deserves a lot more screen time than it's given.

3. Lets face it, Relius Clover is a cold hearted bastard but is he truly evil? Probably yes because he feels no remorse from turning his daughter and wife into dolls. I think he is going to pull a Darth Vader and turn on Saya and Terumi because Carl is finally getting to him. Somewhere in BlazBlue 3 he will start loving his son. Perhaps he will kill Saya and in turn that will kill Terumi because she is his observer. (That is unlikely)

4. Tenjou's legacy is shrouded in more mystery than anything else in the story. There are absolutely no hints as to who or what he could be. I am hoping it is a huge twist though. One that no one could possibly see coming. I really have nothing more to say on this because almost no information has been given on the matter.

5. Five new playable characters: Jubei (as hinted in CS), Kokonoe (also hinted in CS), Tenjou's son (because why not, that's why!), Phantom (because she is obviously the sixth hero Nine and all of the six must be playable), and the last is Saya. Saya is basically the final boss (actually I hope Terumi's ghost form ends up being the final boss) so she must be playable.

6. Hakumen, Judei, Valkenhayn, Terumi, Nine (AKA Phantom), and Trinity are going to meet again under different circumstances this time and not as allies. Jubei is not going to be able to hurt Nine because they are lovers, so that means either she is going to have to lose her connection to Saya or be killed by someone else. That's another funny thing, isn't Nine supposed to be dead by Terumi's hand? Okay, okay we don't know FOR SURE that Phantom is Nine but any guy who isn't brain dead can see the obvious hints and connections with Phantom and Nine. Well I think good ol' Hakumen and Valkenhayn are probably going to bite the dust in this game along with Terumi. I mean their story really can't progress any further while Jubei, Nine and Trinity still have plenty mystery behind them. Before they bite it though, the rematch of the century is going to take place between all six.

7. Saya is explained in depth. That is all.

Overall I still have hundreds more things to say but you have to stop somewhere and this might as well be it. What do you guys think about my ideas?

I thought your ideas were reasonable for BB3. I kinda want to see Ragna end up with Rachel, but I agree that Noel will most likely be who Ragna ends up with. I also hope that Nu is obsessed with Ragna this time around too since it's so hilarious. I forgot that Bang's Nox had the power to server ties to the boundary; that will definitely have something to do with Litchi's story. We don't know much about Tenjou's son so I'm interested in what he'll look like/fight like.

What I really want to see in BB3 is Saya playable(and voiced by Kate Higgins still XD) along with Kokonoe, Jubei, Phantom. A new outfit for Noel since she is going against the Library now, and I think it would make sense for her to have a different outfit. That's pretty much it.

Yeah that really makes sense about Noel needing a new outfit. She probably isn't going to lose the hat though. Maybe she'll join Sector 7?

The joke that Nu's main characteristic was being a stereotypical girl was actually hilarious so if that doesn't transition over in at least Gag reels I will be severely disappointed.

I was skimming over the BlazBlue wiki and I came across Litchi's assistant, Linhua. Is it weird that she has basically no point in the story or maybe is it a twist waiting to happen for BlazBlue 3?

I have a question, do you think Saya will have her own Nox Nyctores? I mean she does work with Relius so there isn't anything stopping her from getting her own.

Why don't you like Kokonoe? She is sort of a -your mother is a classy lady- but I think she more than makes up for it with Tager and the rest of her "Help me Prof. Kokonoe!".

I can try to agree on Hazardous's questions, but then again, who knows if the odds of them actually happening, but who knows, just another reason that's one of the many possibilities of the continuum shift. (Even though BB3 will have another/different subtitle anyways.)

Obviously Spoilers ahead so be careful.

With the details of Chrono Phantasma my theories can basically be thrown out the window, well some of them anyways. (Mainly the one about Noel keeping her hat).

The story mode in Phantasma is supposed to follow 3 different stories that all come together for a true ending. Within the 3 different stories you can apparently switch characters so maybe this means that we will follow 3 different parties? Say its something like

1. The "good" party: Ragna, Noel, Jin, Taokaka, and Makoto.

I think it makes sense for all these characters to be together. They are all good, and are mostly on good terms with each other. The only thing I think could help this group is a bit of Jubei "the strongest being in the world" sandwich mother -your mother is a classy lady-. (excuse my language)

2. Sector 7: Iron Tager, Azrael, Amane, Carl and Bang.

So now we decide, is Tenjou's legacy Amane or Azrael? I think it'd make sense that Azrael is Tenjou's legacy because he was sealed away by Sector 7. That'd be the reason Bang couldn't find him. I have no idea what Amane will do so I just put him in Sector 7. I think Azrael is Tenjou's son so that's why Bang would be there. Carl likes Bang, therefore he goes with Sector 7.

3. The "Evil" party: Hazama, Relius, Saya, Tsubaki, Litchi, Arakune, and Bullet.

Hazama and Relius needs no explenation. I think Saya is going to be playable, therefore she is filed as EVIL. Tsubaki is corrupted by Saya and is wearing black so that obviously means evil. Litchi is there because Hazama says the NOL has the technology to save Arakune. Arakune is present because Relius captured him and he has always been evil. Bullet is the only person i'm not positive about. It is said that she opposes Sector 7 so it'd be only natural she works with the people who are against Sector 7.

I have a little bit of speculation to where Hakumen, Rachel and Valkenhayn will show up. I guess you could say that good ol' Haku would probably support the "good" party because of his hatred of both Kokonoe and Hazama, but he did want to walk his own path at the end of Continuum shift. Rachel is also walking her own path so I think she could probably show up in both the "good" parties story, and the Sector 7 story. Valkenhayn will always go where Rachel goes.

There you have my new theories for what will happen in BlazBlue 3. What do you think?
