I wouldn't mind either, but if X gets chosen, wouldn't mind paying for Dlc characters. I just want a Umineko fighting game on the ps3 or 360.

It was just announced by Imageepoch and it looks pretty good. And seeing as Aksys just Localized an Imageepoch developed game last year Fate/Stay Night Extra. I figured they would have the best chance of doing it.

Both are very colorful STGs and can provide lots of fun. MMP! is more accesible to new players, but still tough as nails if the idea is getting a high score. Pink Sweets is harder.

Gonna vote for Record of Agarest: Marriage and DEFINITELY for Ougon Musou Kyoku X for 360. I am currently playing Agarest PSP and its...fun to say the least. Not understanding the intense kanji is a real bummer, but the feel of the atmosphere is the same as the other members of the series, it'd be a real shame if the fan's of the series didn't get to play it.
Ougon Musou Kyoku X is the ONLY PC fighting game I've played and fell in love with on the first go. The battle system is unique and the characters are hilarious/funny/Bernkastel. Plus its one of the fighting games that take insane skill to combo really well and feels awesome when you can beat the story mode on Normal (much less hard). Would definitely be great for the Umineko fans to get at least SOMETHING in the west

The last time I posted here I suggested Fate/Extra CCC, which I still really, really would like to see over here. Even as a digital only release, I'd get it. In fact, if Fate/Extra CCC were the last PSP game that Aksys brought to North America, I think I'd still be very content.

Sol Trigger for the psp by Image Epoch. I want to second the previous suggestion for it. Unfortunately, I know the state of the psp, but I believe that the right game will sell and this game does look fantastic. With the Vita being backwards compatible I think a digital release of this could be a good decision. Up to you guys, but I'd love if you are able to make it happen.

I was half-joking. I was messing around with the over 9000 part but I was not messing around about over 4000 being unimpressive. Petitions of over 100000 votes have gone ignored in the past and unless I was told wrong, Nintendo didn't agree to release Xenoblade Chronicles in the US until Gamestop began to apply pressure. Basically, I feel that the number of votes a petition gets doesn't mean anything. If a company is not interested, they'll brush it aside and move on. Even if there were to be interest given by the people, they'd never get around to it unless it actually interests them because they have their projects that they themselves are actually interested in.

For larger companies like Nintendo, 4000 might be unimpressive, however, niche publishers like Aksys and Xseed don't need numbers in the hundreds of thousands to impress them. They're closer to the fanbase, and more likely to notice. Given that niche publishers rarely publish "million sellers", 4000 shows that there's a decent sized community online alone that wants to see a title come over here, and likely many more outside of it who would take an interest in it. The fact that this game is the most requested title on Xseed's forum at the moment may not be extremely significant in the long run, but it's not exactly entirely irrelevant either.

The thing about Gamestop applying pressure is just something I heard and I found it very believable due to Nintendo of America's stubborn behavior throughout the whole mess. Also, you are forgetting that the topic of over 4000 posts does not mean over 4000 users. It's different from a petition getting over 4000 votes.

I honestly don't think that Gamestop cared about Xenoblade at all; it coming to North America likely was a combination of having a relatively empty release schedule and fan demand for the title (hence why the North American release was first announced on Facebook, where a large portion of Operation Rainfall activity had taken place). Making it exclusive to Gamestop was just a way of making it more risk free.
While it is very true that 4000 posts does not equal 4000 users, it's still improbable that a small number of users could make that many posts about one game, compared to the rest of the titles on the board. It still shows that at least on that forum, there's an interest larger than the other titles.
And really, it's not that improbable to release here; Atlus is releasing the similar Code of Princess this month, after all. As well as this Aksys is not afraid to release titles like this (shown by their release of games like the Agarest War series), and have already released games on the 3DS. It still has a decent chance, I think.
Still hoping for Ougon Musou Kyoku Cross (or at least X, since it's out on 360 JP.)
