What I've realised after scanning the forums is that a lot of people who enjoy Hakuoki, don't actually know how many game titles of it has already been released. Although sources say there have been "12 + publications" - in reality, there are only 4 main canon games. E.g. - For Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom alone, that already counts as 4 releases (For PS2, PSP, PS3 & DS).
Now, onto the main topic at hand. Assuming Hakuoki is rather successful (review wise + sales), which title within the series would you like to see localized next? If there are enough people interested, it just might increase our chances of seeing it in the near future ^_^
The first title in the Hakuoki seriesis of course, the main storyHakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossomwhich has already been localized.
The second is - Hakuoki Zuisouroku (The Side Story/Fandisc
It is basically a collection of short stories that take place AT THE SAME TIME of the main story. So, we're able to see the moments in between the main storyline. These are ones we didn't get to see before, and it gives a better insight onto the "relationship development", rather than the progression of storyline and history.
It focuses more so on the romance between the characters. Although the game can be played as a stand-alone, it is better to have played the first in order to understand the story and characters better. It also includes the extra SSL (Sweet School Life) which is Hakuoki in a "high school setting".
You guys can watch a youtube translated clip of it here:

Personally, then I wish to see the fandisc released simply because of the "shimbara" event which we didn't get to see in the main story. In it, Chizuru offers to go as an "undercover geisha-in-training" in order to get more information on the Shinsengumi. And of course, we get to see the reactions of the guys at Chizuru in not only female clothing, but dressed up.

Also, it includes "alternate views" of the endings in the original Hakuoki, and just adds a little extra :)
The third release is - Hakuoki: Yuugiroku (Mini Game)
It's a relatively short mini game, with each single route being around 30 mins long, depending on how fast you read. It doesn't have much of a plot, but its more so "comical relief". The basic storyline is that the Shinsengumi has recently been plotting something, and Chizuru doesn't know what's going on. Itou has lost an "important box" of his, and of course - Chizuru stumbles across it.
Unwittingly, she opens it - and the world around her has become chibified! Just what is going on? And depending on what choices you pick, it'll unfold the character paths (which is just hilarious moments between Chizuru and the guy you choose). At the end, the world returns to normal - and we get a normal "ending CG" (like the CG art from the original game artist)

And the fourth release is - Hakuoki: Reimeiroku (Prequel)
Reimeiroku acts as a prologue to Hakuoki, and focuses more so on the "background stories" of each guy. It's a lot more serious than all the other titles, since it focuses on their drama, inner conflicts and how they finally grow up and became the person they are in Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom. So if you dislike a guy's character in the original game, maybe you just might understand him better in the prequel.
As a prior warning however, this is NOT an otome game and is a proper Visual Novel. It centres on the growing friendship between the guys, and you play as an all-new guy character named Ibuki Ryunosuke. It also shows how the "Shinsengumi" started out, and how they became so fearsome throughout Kyoto. So I guess you can say it answers all the questions that the original game didn't.
It also includes an "epilogue" of the original Hakuoki, and takes places after the ending of the original Hakuoki paths. So in this one, we know of the "proper futures" of what happened between Chizuru, and whichever guy you chose.
