The Soulcalibur 5 LE wasn't bad in my opinion. The Artbook was made rather nicely, and the design of the LE was unique.
Artbooks is what usually gets my attention from LEs. Unique items (such as Tarot Cards from Tactics Ogre) or Unique LEs (such as Catherine) catch my eye as well.
@The_Console1: Aww come on, I think its good, like NAC says, and besides, it looks good on my SCIV LE.
@NAC: That's good, besides, I too would like to support and get things you can't get it on standard editions normally, to prove my point...
Of course that excludes certain games, BB:Extend anyone? (I know Phantom Breaker will do this too, just the Calender though, everything else is fine...Still getting it.)

I really like Limited Editions as well, but only if they are worth it. Like the MvC3 CE was garbage. A comic and a tin case? That's it? oh and some DLC that's just early access. pssht super pass for me.
It's also unfortunate that Europe gets so many swag LE's compared to NA. The Wii Trio of RPG's comes to mind...and just about every Square-Enix title on the psp as well.
I also only got a PS3 this past year, so I missed out on alot (Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 was NISA online only?! and they take Paypal?! Nooo! FAIL!). Some are still in stock in store according to EB/GS's website so I hope to pick them up if they don't sell out by the time I have cash. Why must I be broke lol...
Oh yeah I'm also waiting for Phantom Breaker. Stupid Canadian website won't update it's status online since it was delayed, and according to the US gamestop website it seems to have been delayed AGAIN till June. -__- At this rate I hope it gets released at all...
I do have to agree that the MvC3 LE wasn't that great, though I can't say for the same reason. The art on the tin wasn't very appealing to look at and I really didn't feel like looking at that when I'm deciding what game to play.
I usually buy games with the cover art intact. If I have a game with a generic label, like the Gamestop labels, I'm not really motivated to play that game. Even though the MvC3 LE wasn't generic, it looks ugly and I don't want that on my shelf. Dark Souls is another LE that came in a tin, but the art looks cool and the artbook is well made.
As for LEs from other countries, if I really like a game, I'd consider importing it ( double up on games depending on if NA have a LE too, ) but so far, I can't say that's happened.
I wanted to get Phantom Breakers CE for a few reasons: 1. I like the Anime style look 2. Its a CE 3. Looks interesting

Yeah, and that's not happening anytime soon, since 7sixty is not responding why its being pushed back for the 5th-6th time...Seriously, I'll be playing Akai Katana anyways...

Yeah, I want to support 7Sixty, but they kinda ignoring their fans
If they release a demo sometime soon, I'll be satisfied with that till release. In JPN, they released two demos of PB, so I wish we'd get at least one of them soon.

Nyaa? I thought you'd need a Japnese 360 to play it, since Microsoft is stingy and makes their system region locked (for majority of games.)
Nope, just a JP XBL account, and you're set, also use the same account for certain DLC's as well.

Hmm... I suppose I should ask this question as well. For Hakuoki, the community had the opportunity to decide what was included in the LE. Now, if we were given the opportunity to decide on the contents of LEs we were to buy, what would you want to add?
I personally don't mind what a company puts inside, my only issue with the LE would have to be the value of the LE itself. I tend not to buy any LEs over $100.

Soundtracks are what sell me. That why I got the LE of FFXIII-2, for the soundtrack. An artbook doesn't hurt either (though I've yet to get an artbook that was really awesome, besides the Persona 4 one)

Soundtracks are great to receive. Truthfully, I listen to more music from games than I do the other ones. For the artbooks, the ones we receive from games are, to me, a sample. They're great to look at, but you'll almost always want more.
I suppose the only thing US people can put in an LE that I'm interested in would be a soundtrack, and free DLC.

For me LE/CE are all about physical bonus (Artbook, soundtrack, t-shirt, posters and more...)
