Could it be Conception?
I want that xD
I hope it's Fate/Extra CCC so that the internet shuts up about how we will totally never get it! not very likely of course since CCC doesn't even release in Japan until Winter but I can dream

I love the line they use to describe the game, "Deepen your love with the maidens and make strong babies." The best father in the world nyaa... takes his child to battle the forces of evil... nearly seconds after they're born... haha.

They didn't shoot it down entirely, they just confirmed that it's NOT the Mystery Game in question. Well, that and they asked us to stop spamming them about it, but that wasn't anything I was involved in, that was just some over-zealous fans on facebook and twitter. But, yeah, it is kinda weird that the Fall Mystery Game was announced before the Summer one, when Summer is just a month away.
A quote from Beli while we were guessing both titles at the time.

Hey guys, I feel like I should probably nip this one in the bud before people get too excited: Umineko is not one of the mystery games.
EDIT: Using the PS3 browser is kinda hard sometimes...

Don't use that disgusting browser D:
Meh. I tend to use my phone, the PS3 browser, or my comp. It simply boils down to what I'm currently using at the moment nyaa.

I got that message (to stop asking for Umineko) very clear last year, that's why I've been away from here for so long. I just made this topic out of pure curiosity, I don't think it's Umineko, and I even don't think it's something from Japan, it'll probably be something from the BIT.TRIP developers that I guess no one really was expecting or wanting it to be.

I'm pretty sure that message extended only to the people spamming them about it on social media, not us casually talking about it and trying to drum up support for it. They never said that it was completely out of the question, just that it's not one of the mystery games and that they wanted to hear suggestions for other things too. I doubt they would want us off the forums. :)
I didn't personally have any involvement with the facebook/twitter group in question, but I was pretty sure they immediately stopped spamming them about it once they were asked. So I don't think there are any hard feelings. And it'd be a shame if the fans here were punished for actions of other people in the fanbase. We should still be able to bring it up and suggest it here.
Bump.

When will we find out the last mystery game nyaa? The waiting is starting to get to me nyaa.

Gum.

I think all Aksys employees left the forum altogether.

Or there at E3 and taking a vacation?

While I had originally typed up a long post explaining how I thought it could be Deadly Premonition again, one thing had slipped past me. I had an odd urge to look at the 'Games' section on the website and, lo and behold, a PSN title that was not there before with a 'coming soon' marker attached.
(PSN) BIT.TRIP Presents, Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien COMING SOON
Unless I completely missed this announcement, there we have it. Hurray, BIT.TRIP runner for the PS3, I guess one of my guesses was correct!

or even a wild card (I will just say... Bit.Trip Runner for PS3?)

Wild card, ho!
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Atlus have the rights to Bit.Trip?
Edit: Holy wow I am stupid, I meant Atlus, not Aksys lol

You are incorrect, Aksys has always been the publisher of the BIT.TRIP series in North America for the Wii, with Gaijin Games being the sole developer (the PC releases were self-published by Gaijin Games). Also, it seems I have made a mistake, it is also coming out for the Xbox 360 as well, so it may very well not be the 'PSN' mystery game mentioned, going off the assumption that the said title is not multi-platform.
You can see Aksys' entire game catalog, along with the not-yet-announced BIT.TRIP Runner 2, here.
The above link also provides the entire list of the BIT.TRIP series, with all titles released as 'WiiWare' and one 'complete' edition released via retail as a disc.
Well, with that enlightenment, I will post what I had originally typed due to the fact that on top of all the other clues, this title is a PS3 exclusive with release method announced yet (digital or physical).

I do wonder if perhaps that they will announce the mystery game at E3 (if they are in attendance, of course). Or, they are planning to make this reveal after E3, as they did last year.
Also, doesn't E3 still have reveals throughout the upcoming 3 days? I could have sworn that they do and that this is just 'Day 0,' considering we only heard from the main players; Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and EA. Considering no other companies have yet to present anything so far, there are more reveals to be had, correct? If so, I fail to understand why everyone is acting like E3 is already over.
So during all this E3 hubbub today, I came across something that kind of reinforces my previous guess, which was Deadly Premonition.
In a recent article at Siliconera, it spoke of a single publisher for the enhanced version of Deadly Premonition, but more interestingly it said that they had coordinated a deal with 'another publisher' for the EU and the US. You can read the article here. Obviously, this is pure conjecture, but with this news, one can assume that the original publisher had backed out, or said publisher became two, in a sense, and had found another company to help publish the game on the opposite landmass.
This of course may or may not be Aksys and Rising Star Games. However, since the last article stated that Wada hoped to show the game off at E3 if possible, we may know then for sure who the publisher truly is.
Finally, since Deadly Premonition already has a guaranteed US and EU publisher, I will not be disheartened if it is not revealed to be the mystery title in the slightest. Rather, the only reason why I think Deadly Premonition even has a chance of being the mystery title are due to it being formerly released in the EU territory by Rising Star Games, and given that the publisher is still unknown and that Aksys still has a mystery title to reveal, it is still plausible. My reasoning for it is that it is the only upcoming release that kind of points in this direction, although all of this may be entirely circumstantial.
But if the publisher actually turns out to be a corporation that publishes in both the US and EU, then I suppose my point is moot, ha ha.
If the Aksys employees did indeed attend E3, that may explain their absence, or they are busy on other things, I am not one to pry.
\\
The only problem is, it is only stated as a PSN digital title, so that could mean a PSP game (which would make my idea moot) or a PS3 game, be it a full title or an 'arcade' title.

Bleh, I wonder why I thought Atlus? I've been following both companies relatively closely for a year now, I should know better.
And I'm not gonna lie, I mostly skimmed what you said for keywords XD It's 3:30 am and I'm being lazy :P I got the gist of what you said though. I kind of hope it is something like Deadly Premonition, not interested at all in Bit.Trip personally. If it is Bit.Trip, I won't care either, someone'll enjoy it, just not the game for me lol
Also, I don't think the issue is E3, well not entirely. I haven't really seen them posting much in general for the past couple of weeks.

We've been here all along... (dun dun dun)
We'll make an announcement when everything is set to go. Unfortunately, we can't talk about it at all before then. So just hold on a bit longer.
We're also super busy at the moment, and as such haven't had time to post here. Sorry about that. Just trying to make the games we're working on good for all of you!
