   A request for a future update.

   For Online Ranked Matches, please randomize or least give us the option to randomize backgrounds and music (except, perhaps special matchups, same character, Jin vs. Ragna, etc.).

   I'm tired of playing Ranked Online, and seeing the same handful of backgrounds and soundtracks of the most popular characters over and over again. The game has plenty of great songs and backgrounds and we should get to experience all of it, not just, the most popular characters at the moment.

   Even if there's no random option, you can still select which stages and music you want for the match.

   How do you do that in Ranked Online? Because I really don't think you can.

   I've played over 100 matches online, and after characters are chosen, the match starts and it always goes to the stage of one of the 2 characters and plays that stage's music (unless it's a special song for given the matchup).

   You can't in ranked, but does it really matter? If it bothers you that much, just mute your TV and insert your own music. That may interfere with your combos, I guess, but I doubt it.

   I think that, if the option was given to choose stages and music, sore losers would find SOMETHING to whine about. That may be what AkSys was going for when they made that decision, because it's obviously deliberate.

   I don't know if it was a deliberate decision. What kind of loser would complain that playing at a level other than theirs or their opponents caused a defeat? I think they'd rather blame lag or the 'cheapness' of their opponent.

   I just want to see the full game when I play Ranked, and can't imagine what the rationale behind restricting the levels and music to only the characters in the respective matches. It's boring to always play at my main's level or Jin, Noel, Ragna, and Nu's, and never get to experience the rest in Ranked.

   Randomize music and levels in Ranked. It's not like this a hard patch to make.
